Kookaburra Cottage is a charming two-story retreat perfect for a family escape. Enjoy a cosy living, kitchen, and dining area with reverse-cycle heating/cooling, plus a balcony overlooking the peaceful bushland. Set at the top of Falls Road, itâs a short walk into town and a quick drive to the magical Stevenson Falls.
A cozy stay a few KM outside Marysville. Warm and comfortable inside, large screen TV, nice view off the deck. Just the basics in the kitchen. Driveway can be a bit tricky to back out.
I love this house, one of my favourite aribnbâs weâve stayed in. There is access to the creek at the back of the property, which was an extra special surprise. I love the house & the area. I would definitely stay again. Thank you kindly for sharing your cool little home đĄ
A very clean well presented property. Suitable for a family. Despite it having an en-suite and main bathroom, there was only 1 functional shower in the en-suite. The shower head in the main bathroom was above a bath with a window that had no covering. Would recommend the addition of a dishwasher and Wi-Fi availability. Otherwise a comfortable stay. Beautiful hearing the kookaburras at dawn and dusk.
Really nice cottage to get away for a week. Everything you needed to switch off. No wifi was challenging, and we had to always be vigilant upstairs (we banged our heads a few times on the sloping roof), but overall it was a great place to relax.
We enjoyed a lovely 5 day stay at the Cottage! The back deck is a highlight! We took our BBQ with us and ate out there every night, enjoying the bush views. The house is very comfortable and the bath luxurious. The location was excellent and we were able to do several day trips in different directions. Our only suggested improvement is an A/C in the upstairs bedroom as it is very unpleasantly hot there during Summer. Fans to the other bedrooms would be good as well. Otherwise it was a lovely stay and we would come again!
Quiet location. Close to town. Welcoming decor too. Has basic amenities in the house. Very comfortable cottage with family in mind. Variety of DVD selections, small selection of board games and plenty of yard space for kids to run around.
Need a dryer if going in winter.
Overall, a comfortable cottage!
We had a lovely time away in the Kookaburra Cottage over new years. It was great to experience the small town and enjoy this little home.
They house was clean which was lovely - I would reccomend washing your dishes before use though as they are washed by the previous tenants only.
