The Ribbonwood Studio at The Guesthouse

This newly completed suite is similar in size and layout to a compact hotel room – there is no kitchen included. It features a comfortable Queen Bed made up with luxurious 100% Organic cotton sheets, along with a bar counter and kettle area to prepare tea and coffee plus a small bar fridge. The generous ensuite bathroom is fully tiled. We also provide unlimited Wifi and reverse cycle air-conditioning.

The Guesthouse is the ideal location to be able to walk the 200 to 300 meters along the main road into Maleny town, and enjoy all the cafes, galleries, restaurants and shopping that makes Maleny so special.

In addition to the Ribbonwood Studio itself, we have a few common spaces that guests can enjoy during their stay. Central to the four apartment and studio rooms is a common lounge TV area that will allow you to spread out and relax. For those who might like to eat in without much in the way of cooking, we have a microwave, plates and cutlery available in the laundry room, plus a dining table and chairs in a converted garage space at the rear.

We do not live on site but are only a few minutes way in case of any need.

The Guest House is just 300 meters easy walk to the Maleny Hotel , the supermarket and and all the delightful cafes and shops of Maleny. You will not find anywhere closer than this. From this highly convenient location you can enjoy all that Maleny has to offer from hand made ice cream and cheese, wineries, yoga, meditation, massage, live music, and country hospitality.

Maleny is just over one hour easy drive from Brisbane airport; the Landsborough train station is a fifteen minute drive down the Blackall Range. Incredible beaches stretch along the Sunshine Coast from Caloundra to Mooloolaba and Maroochydore, about 30 - 40 minutes away, plus there is bushwalking, whale -watching, gliding, snorkeling and surfing, and of course world class restaurants.
