We appreciate the compliments as to this home's cleanliness, comfort, and well-kept pool and hot tub. It’s wonderful to hear the yard and stair gate worked well for your dogs and kids, too. We appreciate your suggestions about the kitchen supplies and will review them with our team. Unfortunately, we've found some guests put the pots and skillets on the grill in which they are not intended and are looking into some more grill-friendly options. We’d love to host you again!

Thanks so much for the 10 out of 10, Jennifer! We’re so happy to hear the house had everything you needed and the pool and outdoor spaces hit the mark—coastal living at its best! And yes this home, like all the others in the area, is on stilts. While we haven't had any other guests mention any sensitivity… the “cruise ship shuffle” can be real for some when the winds are high! One of the joys of being perched up on stilts by the coast—perfect for views, and apparently, practicing your sea legs too. We’re so glad it didn’t take away from the fun, and we’d love to have you back anytime for another land-meets-sea adventure!

As we both know, there was not an issue with the pool, rather an issue with the unseasonably monsoon like weather making outside activities less enjoyable. Not only was the proper coastal condition of the pool confirmed by our field staff, but also the professional pool company, and communicated with you in person directly. We're sorry Mother Nature was not cooperating during your stay. Boy, we certainly wish we could control her for our guests. That said, there is a lot more than just the pool to enjoy at this home and island when spending time with friends and family. We do however wish you sunnier skies for your next vacation getaway.

We wanted you to love your stay too, sorry you were disappointed. We do want to share facts. Pool & hot tub are prof maintained & serviced. The servicer was there on 12/28, 1 1/2 days before stay, set pool to 87 deg (have report). To be clear, a 30,000 gal pool is a warm 87 deg but not a hot tub. That is for those toastier 100 temps. On check-in the pool was 87 deg & hot tub at 102 - have photos. RE: maintenance manager’s assistance, she found the timer for pool lights to be off a bit after the area power blip and reset it. Re: the pool temp, it was still set at the 87 deg, perhaps you misunderstood, wanted hot tub temp? Hot tub was clear & heating properly for your stay; however, our mgr arrived to find it in “eco mode”. This is a result of too many buttons pushed. We had instructions in our Guide to exit eco mode, if you accidentally enter it. We have since changed the functionality to prevent guests from doing this. The crow’s nest was redone w/ new shiplap & paint before your stay in hopes to make it even better. While we did not detect any scent, we apologize if any lingering construction smell remained. Oven display was intermittently misbehaving- has been replaced. Garbage disposal is working properly now and was prior to your stay. It and bottle caps aren't friends. Again, we always want our guests to have a fantastic time. It sounds like some of the challenges were self-inflicted, and we have since tried to make easier for guests to navigate this cool property.
