This lake front, Deluxe King One Bedroom Apartment boasts a fireplace in the living room overlooking Mirror Lake and the High Peaks. It features a large lake front balcony, small bathroom with jetted tub/shower ensuite to a well appointed King bedroom with A/C. The full sized, California kitchen overlooks the living/dining area. This unit sleeps up to 4 in a King bedroom and queen sleeper sofa in living room. The suite is located on the third floor accessed by stairs.

The five story, 1904 building with arched windows and huge, tall balconies off the lake side remind us of its original victorian heritage.

Location and view

We have stayed in Lake Placid many times. This place was perfect for 2 people. The outdoor balcony is big and private. The location cant be beat. The ladies runninh The Haus were amazing. Friendly and accommodating. It is important to note there is a steep staircase, you have to climb to get to the rooms. This rental is on the top floor, so there is another set of staors to climb. You get used to them right away and you can park in front temporarily to unload your bags. Very convenient. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you for a great stay!

Great location & awesome views

We had a terrific stay. You CANNOT BEAT the location. The suites are accessed remotely and there is very limited support, but that's just fine, there's everything you need. Plenty of towels, a fully outfitted kitchen and very clear instructions. This bedding was soft and everything in the home was fresh feeling. The views from our suite were SPECTACULAR! We could see the the dog sledding and the entire expanse of Mirror Lake. The location is excellent--right across from the Palace Movie Theater. The downsides? No parking. You'll get a pass and instructions on where to park (it's free, but not convenient). This was a little stressful. I had to leave my hazards on while we unloaded. We stayed in suite #7 and had to haul everything up two flights of steep stairs--so be sure to check which floor your room is on.

Perfect location !

Couldn’t be more convenient with all of Lake Placid town within steps. Photos make it look newer/ more updated than it is but comfortable for my husband and I with two teenage boys sharing the convertible bed. Would come again! Parking permit a great asset to coming and going to the attractions.

While we don't have a a 24-hour front desk, our staff is always on-call to answer any question you may have.

Each suite has a parking permit for 1 vehicle at the nearby city lot. Enjoy complimentary wifi while you stay connected to home.

While the haus does not serve any meals, there are a wonderful assortment of restaurants and eateries immediately outside your suite door! Enjoy your stay with us!
