Beautiful home with all the amenities!

Cannot say enough about this place! Just had a 3 night stay with my whole family for my dad’s retirement gift, (14 of us) and it exceeded expectations!!!Very private, and beautiful yard. The commercial fridge was a plus! Would definitely recommend to any big families looking for a place to accommodate!! We will be looking to rent this out next year

Christmas get-a-way

This was our family Christmas celebration. House was wonderful, lots of tools in the kitchen for use. Very clean and beautiful decor. The host didn't get back to me at all the the owning company did.

Great get away

Very nice property in a quiet location. Clean house with plenty of room for our whole family (11of us). Nice backyard & lots of options for “play”…kids painted rocks, drew with sidewalk chalk, corn hole, ladder toss, fire pit, & grills plus the basement offered indoor options…ping pong, pool, & tv. Close to Shawano, so we took advantage of tubing on the Wolf River, visited the Twig’s beverage museum, shopped the farmer’s market & the shops on the main drag and finally visited Doc’s Harley Davidson store & zoo. Overall a great experience!!

Great property, needs a little help.

We loved the property and location. However there a couple things I believe could be improved on. First, the house had Asian beetles (look like ladybugs) everywhere. They are harmless, but multiple times a day we would have to vacuum to keep them under control. Second, while the house was very well stocked with kitchen items, every single cabinet was filled. There was no room for any pantry items. We had 15 people staying there and had to pile items all over the countertops because there was nowhere to go with it. And lastly, the beds/mattresses/futons all need to be updated.

After sharing your comments with the homeowner, they wanted to provide the following response:-Regarding the presence of Asian beetles, we understand how this can be frustrating, and while these insects are common in the area and can be difficult to control, we are actively looking into ways to minimize their impact.-As for storage, we understand that some areas may feel a bit full, and we will explore options to create more space for guests to store their belongings comfortably. -We plan to update the mattresses, beds, and futons as part of our regular improvement schedule in the near future. Guest comfort is a top priority, and these updates will enhance the overall experience.Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We truly appreciate your feedback!

Average Stay

I would say this property is pretty average when it comes to a VRBO. The amount of space was great, we had fun with the darts and there were lots of game options. The kitchen also had an impressive amount and variety of dishes. It wasn’t terribly clean and we were disappointed there was no dish soap and the dishwasher wasn’t releasing the soap- we contacted the owner and she said she suggests people bring their own dish soap and laundry detergent (although it was never suggested in the listing or the check in instructions prior to arriving!) and she wasn’t aware of the dishwasher issue when we contacted her.

Nice Property

Upon arrival we found the property to be very dirty. I called the owner to let her know this. She was located about 1 1/2 hours away but had offered to come and clean the property. I turned down her offer and instead asked for a portion of a refund which she agreed to. I cleaned the property myself. I felt bad for the owner because apparently her cleaning person was not doing their job. The owner was very pleasant to work with and accommodating. She did tell us she fired her cleaning lady and gave us a nice refund for our troubles. My family and I celebrated Thanksgiving at this property and a good time was had by all.
