Overall, we had an excellent experience. It's a perfect location and the view is incredible. The property manager, Alisha Linn, was incredibly helpful and responsive.

Great Views & Location

This log home was the perfect place to stay during our time in Whitefish. The location is off the beaten path but easy to locate. We liked all the privacy. The floor plan made the most of the views of the lake and mountains. The kitchen was fully equipped and very clean. The beds were comfortable. We would stay here again.

Great location

The house was great! Location was great! There was no curtain on the bathroom window which I found strange. The dishes were not clean so we had to wash them before using and due to COVID we made our own meals at the house. We had a wonderful stay! The view was amazing.

Great location! Fabulous views!

The property is beautiful! Just sitting on the deck and enjoying the view was fabulous. We did have some issues that we had with the dishwasher flooding the kitchen and no real communication on whether it was resolved or not. Otherwise, it was great.

Hi Laura, the owners have this message for you: "We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! Unfortunately, prior to your visit, our brand new dishwasher was improperly installed. We were so appreciative of you informing us about that. The dishwasher was immediately repaired and the floors will be replaced in October. Additionally, we are making moderations to the kitchen to add more counter and cabinet space." We do all we can to correct problems and make it the best possible stay. See you again soon!

A gorgeous cabin with wonderful views

We LOVED this cabin. The location is perfect. It's very relaxing and the fireplace is the best place in the house with lots of logs just outside the door. We had fun playing ping pong and the kitchen is well equipped. The hot tub wasn't working, but that didn't bother us - make sure it's working if you want it. Would love to see an upgrade in bedding and the upstairs mattresses are really hard. Need curtains upstairs too. Tons of towels, great washer/dryer. Used to be owned by David Lynch. This is a really special place, we will be back.

We’d love for you to join us again! But please note it is too tricky to maintain the health and safety requirements for guest use of the hot tub, so unfortunately, that is one suggestion we won’t be able to incorporate.

Needs work but great views and location

Stayed here for our 10 year anniversary. The location and views were amazing but that was about it when it comes to this cabin. The owners leave personal items everywhere including a freezer full of food. I was told that was in the description of the rental and it's clearly not. It makes for an uncomfortable stay. The dishes in the cabinets were dirty. We have a firm mattress at home but this master bed was like sleeping on concrete. The water in the shower gets everywhere in the bathroom because there's no door. This place could be amazing but if it's going to be rented out it needs to feel more like a vacation home

We passed your comments on to the owner and asked us to share the following: - The items we’ve left in the cabin are things we thought guests might use during their stay. There’s a pitcher, a few games by the fireplace, a selection of books, and some collectibles in one of the rooms. The listing includes several professional photographs that accurately show what guests can expect on arrival - We’re surprised to hear about the state of the dishes as the dishwasher is brand new. We will certainly inspect dishes before putting them away in the future - While we’ve never received any complaints about it in the past, we know mattress taste is subjective. We’re sorry you weren’t comfortable and that the mattress did not suit your preferences. We know many guests have enjoyed the traditional king mattress and the mountain views out the french doors! - The shower has a glass door that allows for easy access without making the bathroom feel small. We’re happy to provide more bath mats and towels if that becomes necessary - We strive to make our guests feel welcome and comfortable. We hope you enjoyed your time at the cabin!

Not Impressed

I am sorry to say that we were very disappointed in this property for many reasons. The location and view and phenomenal. However, the fact that it is advertised as a Super Host is not accurate. The outside of the home looked like no one had lived there for months - and the outdoor furniture was mismatched and old. Door mats the same. Inside there were no throw blankets anywhere - nothing to wash dishes with in terms of a sponge or dish rag - the pillows for the beds were old and worn out - truly nothing special about this place. It was advertised as having a king, full, and two twin beds - however to get to the other twin bed you had to crawl through a hole - literally - such a fire hazard. Very disappointed that when we arrived we could not get in - the code they told us to use did not work - and then after calling several times the property manager picked up and said to just get the key from under the mat. In addition, we had to scour the closets, etc to find enough pillows and bedding for another bed since my daughter did not want to climb through the hole to get to a bed - Just really disappointed - this is not a properly managed property and should not be a superhost -
