In the heart of Clunes village, this pared-back, private resort inspired property offers a tranquil 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom holiday home set on 2 acres of tropical gardens with lush rainforest. Designed with raw and organic textures

The entry opens to the substantial open plan kitchen, dining and living area with soaring timberland ceilings towering over the space, custom furniture by Two Acres Furniture, a large open wood fireplace and Spanish plastered walls. As you stroll out onto the spacious undercover timber deck, the landscaped tropical gardens, rainforest and infinity pool create an unforgettable first impression.
Outside you have multiple entertaining options, all taking advantage of the breathtaking natural surrounds. Escape the heat in the 12m infinity edge swimming pool, relax perched amongst the palm trees in the cabana and dine alfresco on the spacious timber deck with an inbuilt BBQ and bar fridge. Enjoy long conversation around the outdoor fire pit with large timber bench seats. Stroll over the timber bridge and dry river bed and wander through the orchard trees and rainforest creek. Culinary guests can pick their own vegetables and herbs from the raised garden beds.
The master suite with King bed encourages you to slowly unwind with It’s peaceful surroundings and use of soft, flowing fabric, light-coloured timber and travertine stone side tables. Indulge your senses in the ensuite with Spanish plastered walls and floors, luxurious aged bronze fixtures and soft linen towels. Spend some quiet time on your veranda taking in the lush tropical views .
The second queen bedroom offers earthy tones and raw reclaimed timber with a mounted tv, this room is a space in which to sink back and relax. The third bedroom features 2 king single timber beds and an inbuilt open wardrobe with vanity table and chair. The fourth bedroom features a cosy, small and light filled room surrounded by books with a queen bed, please note this room is quite small and is a tight fit with big bags.
With fully ducted air-conditioning and an open wood fireplace the house is comfortable and cosy all year round.

This is hands down the most stunning stay. It feels like you’ve been transported to a luxury villa in Mexico. Every detail of this house is so well done & thought out. The hosts were wonderful and always fast to respond. Cannot fault this stay at all. I’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful home in tranquil location
Two Acres exceeded all of our expectations for a few nights of down time with our family. The home is absolutely stunning in design with a very calm ambience. Plus it has the most comprehensively equipped kitchen we have ever experienced in a holiday rental! With the resort style pool, large flat grassed area, tranquil location, beautiful collection of books and the most comfortable lounge in the open living area, we found it difficult to leave each day and explore the area. The Clunes store is only a few minutes walk with an excellent selection of groceries and delicious cafe. Just wish we had booked a longer stay! Will definitely return and highly recommend this property for your stay.

Stunning private luxury retreat
This property provided everything we were looking for and more. The location was perfect for exploring Byron and the hinterland. However, we couldn’t wait to get back to relax and enjoy all of the features of this beautifully appointed home. Katherine has thought of everything and we couldn’t fault it. Loved it!
We got married nearby and booked this beautiful home to enjoy before and after. Absolutely stunning home. We loved our stay and will be back. The pool, the outdoor area, the interiors and the lovely touches of snacks and wine. Clunes in general is such a gorgeous little town with the general store around the corner!

This home is everything and more. It is so aesthetically pleasing inside and out. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need! Very Handsome Hinterland property
Stunning property with generous bold areas and natural elements - both inside and out! A real treat in terms of an "all in" Byron lifestyle. We loved it. The architecture, the interiors, the welcome, the spaces, and of course, our special time together contained in this magical place they call Two Acres Home. Feel so incredibly lucky to have spent an extended weekend at this amazing property. Honestly couldn't have asked for more, everything had been thought of. From the thoughtful wine and chocolate to the amazing outdoor/pool area and the most comfortable beds in the world. If you can bring yourself to actually leave the property for a short time, a visit to the Eltham pub (5 minutes drive) is a must as is the local general store. This will be an annual destination for us from now and on and can't wait to come back. 5 million stars from us.

The house and pool are immaculate, private and the outlook very peaceful and relaxing.
