Oma's Retreat
A charming spacious cottage with all modern amenities suitable for a couple.
There is a sofa bed for one extra person and portable cot for one infant

Overlooking natural bushland , landscaped gardens and friendly farm animals.
Please note our property is pet friendly but we do not allow pets in this cottage.
We do allow pets in the family cottage

One bedroom with queen size bed, full ensuite and large walk-in wardrobe. Open plan living space with total privacy.

Bathroom consists of a walk-in shower, vanity, toilet and IXL heater.
Hand rails placed in shower

Beautiful views from the bedroom and lounge out to the country gardens and 15 acres bushland with walking tracks.

Large fully equipped kitchen including a dining area and a gas log burning heater.

A full self-catering breakfast is supplied including our free-range eggs. Tea/coffee facilities are also provided. We cater for special dietary requests.

Smart TV and free wifi

All linen and towels supplied.

Choice of outdoor seating area including fernery

NO smoking inside.

Enjoy the serenity of the 2 persons SPA - The spa is situated separate from the cottage in a private setting. The space is fully enclosed from the weather and has beautiful country views. It is accessible for 1 couple at a time as we have 2 cottages. A booking time is required.

Abundant wildlife - 15 acres of bushland where you can spend a morning walk and capturing nature vibes of photos or selfies with your partner for a memorable stay.

Outdoor Fire Pit - great for bonfire nights, toasting marshmallows and cooking a local spud (all firewood supplied).
Beautiful night skies for star gazing...telescope available

Country roads - great for bicycle riding and jogging.

Fantastic get away

We were met with a warm welcome and tour from Anneke. Our accommodation was beautiful and clean, the property is stunning with lots to see just meters from your doorstep! The spa was a lovely was to relax after exploring the area! Highly recommend and we will be back again :)

We had the most wonderful stay over the weekend and couldn’t recommend this place more highly! From the moment we arrived, Anneke was so lovely and accommodating, truly a fantastic host who made us feel right at home. The farm is absolutely beautiful and peaceful, the perfect escape from the everyday hustle.The accommodation itself was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The animals on the farm were such a joy, so friendly and adorable, especially Ruby the dog who quickly became a favourite. It’s clear how much care goes into this place, and it really shows.We had such a great experience and would definitely love to come back. If you're looking for a quiet, charming getaway with welcoming vibes and lovely country surroundings, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

Most Relaxing

Our stay at Oma's was just outstanding! Our Hosts Anneke and her family were most welcoming. The cottage we stayed in was very well appointed and included a selection of food to make our stay more comfortable, we hardly had to shop at all for our 3 night stay. We enjoyed the Hot Tub, it was great to be sitting in a nice warm & bubbly bath while listening to the rain on the tin roof. There was some Shetland ponies, goats and an Alpaca in the paddock just a few meters from our front door and it was lovely to watch them frolicking around. The farm dog, Ruby, was always there to greet us when we returned to the cottage each day after sightseeing around Daylesford and adjacent towns. I would highly recommend Oma's to anyone wanting a quiet and peaceful break. We look forward to returning to Oma's again, it is our new favorite place to visit. Thank you Anneke for providing excellent accommodation & facilities.

The perfect getaway

Everything about our stay at Oma's was absolutely wonderful. We couldn't recommend this property enough. Our hosts Anneke and David were exceptional. The booking process was seamless, all enquiries were responded to extremely quickly and they couldn't have been more warm, friendly. accommodating and hospitable. The property was equipped with modern facilities and our hosts supplied us with everything we possibly needed. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of food and drinks and our hosts even checked if we had any dietary requirements prior to arrival. The cottage was located on beautiful farmland and just outside our door were several farm animals which we got to pat and feed. The spa was so relaxing and the firepit was beautiful, especially at night under the stars. We even got given marshmallows to roast over the fire. Not to mention this property also included old stables where we could play table tennis and other games. The property was clean, well maintained, beautiful and cozy. It's only a short drive from Daylesford and neighbouring towns. Thank you Anneke and David for making our stay at your cottage a memorable one. It was hard to leave!

I was amazed as very rarely does a rental tick every box, however this stay was prefect. It was all the little things and attention to absolute detail. Loved it!!!

Fantastic Stay

I would highly recommend staying here. Owners were lovely and showed us around and were really a accommodating! The property was beautiful and we went for a walk to check everything out and the farm animals were so friendly too! Fantastic location and fantastic stay, couldn’t recommend more. Will be staying here again for sure!

Perfect quiet but relaxing getaway

Very smooth check in process. Rizza greeted us at the car and gave us a tour of the grounds and property. We instantly felt so welcome. There are some beautiful short walks on the property which we availed of before the sun went down. On our way, we were met by some friendly goats who were very keen for our attention and pets. We also met some chickens. The weather was pretty chilly during our stay but the property has a lot of heating options so that wasn't an issue. Plenty of kitchen equipment. Lovely clean bathroom and comfortable bedroom. Thank you so much. We will be recommending to all our friends.

Perfect Country Getaway

Anneke & Dave thank you for a wonderful getaway. The property was breathtaking. Very clean. Many animals to see. We loved Ruby. Our fridge and pantry was so generously stocked. Loved the spa too. Thank you again, we will.be back :)
