This character home is nestled in the Adelaide Hills on two acres with neighbouring vineyards. The spacious guest wing has a contemporary design and harmonious feel. The studio is set with a king bed, kitchenette and ensuite, and the other two bedrooms have queen beds, garden views and private bathrooms. The large decking overlooks the stunning gardens and swimming pool, and offers BBQ facilities. Roam around to discover local wineries, cafes and restaurants or stay and hide away in this delightful haven.

Large pine trees hug the boundary of the beautiful garden, a menagerie for local wildlife. Regular locals include black cockatoos, galahs and rosellas, ducks, rabbits and occasionally kangaroos and koalas.

Golf Getaway

Whilst Sophia was friendly, we found the property to be totally unsuitable for three adult couples. The only real kitchen (Kitchenette) is only accessible via the main bedroom. The dining table is in the main bedroom, as is the cutlery and crockery. The outdoor “kitchen” consisted of a bbq, a cold water only mini sink, and a very small bar frig. The lack of refrigerator storage for 6 adults was evident.

The listing and price indicated luxury however the house rules and restrictions removed elements of these. We were told not to use the spa and combustion heater, and whilst we acknowledge they weren't advertised on the listing, it would have been nice to have the option to use them. There was a fire pit available for use, wood was provided at an additional cost to the guests. We were asked not to wheel our cases through the house and instead carry them, and the reclining handles on the couch were taped over. In addition to this there were many hand written notes around the house with additional small rules, which seemed unnecessary and took away from the ambiance and experience slightly. In saying all of this, the host was warm and friendly and the property and location were both lovely. We enjoyed our stay.

Spacious Hills Property

The property is spacious inside and out with a big lounge room and open deck area. Great place to relax with friends. Sophia was very friendly, accommodating, and easy to communicate with.

Relaxing Stay

Great property, quiet and with a wonderful outlook. Had everything we needed for a short stay. Property was spotless and well presented. Spacious, with very comfortable beds, plenty of storage and the host had thoughtfully provided a variety of different pillows. Relaxing stay.

Relaxing stay

This was a great short getaway for our family. Particularly loved the pool. The kids enjoyed the large backyard and playing with the chickens.

Its a wonderful property, its only 15 minutes from the city centre and centrally located in the heart of the Adelaide Hills.

The property is a lovely secluded hideaway with large trees right around the boundary. The gardens and outdoor area make it a wonderful retreat for fun and relaxing in both summer and winter. The guest wing encompasses a studio with king bed, ensuite and kitchenette. The two other large bedrooms have queen beds and their own private bathrooms. The property is spacious and set with contemporary furniture.
