Although we were pleased with the house there were some things that concerned us. The air conditioning worked great in some room making it feel like the attic while other rooms were very hot. In one room the bed was placed over the vent and my grandson got up next morning complaining his bed was icy all night while his mom who was in the same room said it was hot all night. My granddaughters stayed in the buck beds and said the air vents were under the stairs. We had to run fans in that room because it was hot. In the common area on the 2nd floor there was no light only over the table. The common area on 3rd floor is smaller than expected. Also we found the electrical panel inside one of the cabinets (not sure this is up to code). One day we came into a beeping sound that was inside the wall. After the beeping stopped the maintenance man said that was where the hot water heater was. But you couldn’t get into it unless you took the wall off. The maintenance man was very attentive to anything we needed (a broken toilet, broken handle on fridge, the beeping noise, etc). He came quickly and was very nice. The pool area was very nice and all our kids loved playing in it. It was a little hard walking over the dunes since there was no boardwalk but we did alright. There is also no elevator and a small stairway to walk up 3 floors. All in all our stay was nice. But you could tell this was an older home with many add ons.

We apologize for the uneven temperatures throughout the home and understand how uncomfortable that can be, especially for larger groups. We will share your comments with the property owner so the HVAC system and vent placement can be evaluated. We also appreciate your observations regarding the lighting, third-floor common area, and the home's layout. As many of our vacation homes are individually owned, features such as the floor plan, stairways, and accessibility are part of the home's design. We encourage guests to review listing photos and descriptions to ensure the property is the best fit for their needs. Regarding the electrical panel and the concealed utility area, these features were installed in accordance with the home's design. We appreciate you mentioning the beeping noise, and we're glad our maintenance team was able to quickly investigate and resolve the issue. Thank you again for your valuable feedback. We're pleased that, despite these concerns, you and your family had a nice stay, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for another beach vacation in the future.

I had higher expectations for the house for what I paid !

Short showers, bad beds with “balls” on mattress. Full bed with queen mattress? Toilet holders broken. Beds held together with screws. Frig hard to shut. Ice makers not working Drains backed up and slow. Pool not working properly. Previous guest left open trash out front with broken pool cue. Air hockey no putt - Could not play. Unable to get through to gain assistance. One step broken on outside third floor. Downstairs by pool unclean.

Great potential but poorly cleaned.

This property had a great setup but was very poorly cleaned to make it off-putting. When we called the rental company, they DID send the cleaning crew back out but they only came with a spray bottle, wrag, and swiffer. Not a single bed was swept under nor dresser inspected. Our family spent over $100 on cleaning supllies to wipe things down and clean the floors before anyone felt comfortable for the week. Here were things we found upon arrival: the counters were sticky, the floors were dirty, bath mats were still wet from previous renters, an apple core was found on a dresser, intimate clothing was found in another, recreational drug remnants in another, old coffee was still in the pot, the blender hadn't been cleaned, a couple bed frames were broken, one bed had a stain (thought to be blood) with no mattress pad to cover it, the pool had wrappers and other trash along the bottom (and wasnt cleaned until Wednesday despite being called everyday), and one of the bathrooms had gnats that kept filling the toilet. It had to flushed BEFORE use to clear the bugs. The pool and deck area were a great place to relax but laying in the chairs along the edges was met with biting ants. We certainly don't want to come across as Karens... we did have a nice week being together as family at the beach, but the cleanliness of this rental was far short of expectations for what was paid. Beach Vacay

Property needs a more thorough cleaning and all bedding should be washed after every guest, they only wash sheets. Appliances need updating and hot tub needs repaired.

Beach Paradise

It was a rocky start to the vacation with property changes and key mishaps, but once everything was settled we had a wonderful time at this property. Hot tub, pool and beach were exactly what we needed and enjoyed every minute!
