And yes, working while in the mountains can prove to be a challenge given the internet connection can be spotty at times. We do try to make sure it is adequate (a booster) for everyone's needs though during their stay.

I wish you would have mentioned something while we talked that morning before y'all headed out on your adventures about the internet. Being in the mountains, the internet has a tendency to go in and out on occasion but usually isn't a (long-term) problem for guests. Also, we do not live on the property, we just happened to be up there to enjoy the Fall foliage. As for the crock pot, again, had I known, I would have certainly given you ours and have since placed one in the apartment. We do hope y'all return on your trip back North and give the property another try and look forward to being allowed to host you again."
