The Space:

This home has been fully updated, and feels brand new inside; a large open living room and dining area greets you as you walk in, and high ceilings and plenty of light make this the perfect spacious beach house. Shiplap walls and tasteful nautical decor will have you feeling “vacation mode” right away!

This amazing new kitchen with updated appliances is an ideal place to prepare a family vacation feast. The left side of the first floor offers two bedrooms, one with a queen bed, and ensuite half bathroom, and the other, a perfect kids room, with a bunk bed consisting of a full on the bottom and twin on top, plus another twin trundle and separate twin single. A full bathroom rounds out the first floor, and upstairs you’ll discover a private master suite, which is the only room on this floor. The upstairs master bedroom also has a full en suite bathroom. In the basement, there is a game room with a pool/ping pong table, and a perfect space for a movie night, with a large flatscreen TV and a massive comfy sofa to cozy up on.

Outside the home, a large backyard with a deck, outdoor shower, and grill make this a perfect place to relax after a fun beach day, or a day exploring the Cape. Nearby, you’ll find Cahoon Pond Beach, a perfect spot to take a dip in pristine Long Pond. Head north just a few minutes and you’ll arrive at the downtown area of Brewster, which has many restaurants and shops. Grab some seafood at the Brewster Fish house, or some tacos at Guapos Tortilla shack. Just beyond this area lies Breakwater Beach, where you can be sure to catch one of the best sunsets of your life. Whether it’s the spacious updated interior filled with sun, or the amazing location close to great restaurants and beaches, this home is sure to become your next go-to spot for a spectacular family trip!

The hot tub was great just a few steps from the deck. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed. The bedroom upstairs is very comfortable with a very nice roomy shower. The house is in a great location and close to great trails and beaches.

The house was very nice and had all you need. We enjoyed hanging as a family in the living room and watching some World Cup matches. :)Pros:-House is very nice and as described.-Check-in was very easy and Del mar Vacations was very communicative. A closet in one of the bedrooms was broken when we arrived and they offered to come fix it asap (which was not necessary--I just wanted them to know it was broken).-Awesome mud room/laundry room and nice large deck.-The house had beach towels, which we were not expecting.Cons:-We had a warm few days and the A/C--esp upstairs--was not fantastic. The master BR upstairs was quite warm at times.-The BR with the bunk beds seemed to have a musty smell the whole time, not sure why.-As someone with pet allergies, I found the basement to have a good amount of pet dander even though they say the house is completely disinfected between stays. Normally, I do not book places that allow pets but thought this would be fine based on the description. It was mostly fine except I avoided the basement.All in all, we had a lovely stay and would recommend. The location was great--easy to get all around. We did not have a chance to use the fire pit but it looked nice!

Beautiful home, very clean and comfortable. Well laid out for traveling with teens though might have been difficult with little kids as the master is fairly secluded from the other bedrooms. Amazing privacy, the home was like being at home-cozy couches, warm decor, well done kitchen. Highly suggest!!

Perfect Place for our Young Family

This place is amazing! We were impressed with the cleanliness, decor, and spacious size. We traveled with our 2 year old, 4 year old, and dog. This place was very accommodating for small children and our pet. The hot tub and private backyard were big bonuses, and we frequently enjoyed walking around the quiet neighborhood. The location was great as well - we were 5 mins away from our favorite Brewster beaches as well as Nickerson Park. We were sad to leave this place and hope to visit again soon!

This is a lovely property, perfect for a long weekend or a week of vacation.The Good:•The house was very clean•Kitchen is very well-appointed with pans, cutlery, and cooking utensils. We had everything we needed to prepare meals at the house•Dishwasher tabs were provided, although it was unclear if these were left by previous tenant•Beds are comfortable, linens are provided•TVs with streaming services available in all bedrooms and the living room•WiFi is good•Hot tub is delightful, towels are provided•Backyard is a great size with a lovely sitting area around a fire pit and a deck•The wash machine and dryer are great in a huge mud room with hooks and cubbies for coats and shoes, etc. Laundry detergent was provided•Communication about the property, check-in and check-out is greatThe not so good:•While the house looks great, the finish work is not the greatest•Closet door in one bedroom was completely off the track and made the closet unusable•Broken window in the garage door (although this does not affect your stay at all), purely an aesthetic thingWe were a party of 5 there for 5 days and we were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. If you have a dog, the Brewster dog park (which is a short drive from the house) is hands down THE best dog park we have ever been to.Fun things to do in the area include The Edward Gorey Museum, drive to Ptown, a visit to Chatham (or any other cute Cape Cod town for a stroll around.) And there is always the beach.

Nice location

Being honest here. The home was not as clean as one would expect, had to rewash towels and bed linens, bbq was dirty.. Dining room rug had a few stains. The bathroom upstairs needs attention. Overall we had a great time, we love cape cod, spent most days in Chatham and at the beach.

This truly felt like a comforting home away from home blended with a perfect retreat. The aesthetic was crisp, clean, and welcoming! It was well equipped with amenities, and the host was quick to respond to the minor issues we found. After a day at the beach it was a perfect place to unwind- we enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit frequently! Our family absolutely loved it and we can’t wait to come back!

Very clean, bright like photos, comfortable spacious for 4 adults 5 kids (1-8 years old). Upstairs bedroom & bathroom very spacious, enough to fit another large bed. Ground level double/full bedroom also had just enough room to put a twin mattress on floor. Dining table fit us; deck table fit us. Kitchen stocked w/cooking oil, basic seasonings, cookware, cooking/eating/grilling utensils, glasses/mugs/wine glasses, bowls/plates, coffee machine, soap/sponge, dishwasher.Hot tub was wonderful, which made us pick this house over others. Backyard is spacious & there were lawn games available to set up. Also loved the downstairs TV/billiard room.Stairs to basement & upstairs bedroom were a bit steep but we’re glad that w/young kids, both had doors. Found 1 doorknob safety cover. Cons: 1) Found 2 adult German cockroaches on the deck the 1st evening but didn’t see anymore next 2 days; none inside. 2) Basement billiard room window, which is 1.5 ft. in height, had a 10” hole in it. Host offered to come by to address these issues w/in 12 hours but we declined. 3) Faucet hose is missing a weight underneath so the faucet head hangs low in the sink instead of up in its holder. 4) The deck screen door had a big gap at bottom which could let bugs in. Screen material needs to be reinstalled/replaced. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying at this beautiful home! It’s only 6 minutes drive to Breakwater Beach (Brewster tidal flats) & good central location on Cape.

Perfect Beach stay

We had a wonderful stay at this location last week. The house was spacious and so well decorated - a beach/chabby chic vibe! Great location in a quiet neighborhood yet close to everything. The back deck and back yard was also a bonus area to hang outside during the beautiful summer week! We would definitely rent again here!

Great week at the Brewster Breakaway!

This rental was beautiful, very clean and spacious for our large family. The kids loved the downstairs pool table area, everyone loved the yard and hot tub, and the master suite was perfect for us and our infant. Great vacation at a great property!
