Great weekend getaway

Overall the home was clean and cozy. The owner responded to requests promptly. The outdoor hot tub was pretty large, clean, and heated upon arrival which was great. The outside set up with the covered deck, hot tub, sauna, and seating area has bistro lighting which was such a nice touch.The downstairs has a set up with pool table, darts, and wet bar that came in handy while enjoying the hot tub and pool table - no having to go up & down the stairs for Overall, we had a wonderful girls trip! We all agreed we would rent this property again!

Great house, cleaning and maintenance can be enhanced

Amazing location for a family gathering, with lots of amenities and privacy. However, the cleaning left a lot to be desired: spider webs in multiple rooms, decks full of leaves and spider webs, dirty towels, and moldy shower curtains.

Family Vacation

The house was great! Love the Philly sports touch! Well stocked and roomy for a larger family! Loved the location and proximity to the lake, hiking trails and restaurants! Highly recommended a stop in at the Terra Cottage for lunch and head across the street for ice cream! We will definitely book this house again!!

Having some Harmony!

Very peaceful location in Lake Harmony and the home is very comfortable. Owners put a lot of love and care into their home. The layout is ideal for a multi-family group and there is a place for everyone to hangout. Deer in the backyard every morning which thrilled the grandkids. Fire pit was a perfect excuse to eat s’mores two of the four night stay. So many places to visit in the Poconos and all are a short drive away. Our group hiked in Hickory Run State Park; visited the butterfly sanctuary (toddlers loved feeding the butterflies); dined in Jim Thorpe; and spent every day relaxing on the private Lake Harmony Beach. Everyone had a terrific time!

Great Stay!

This place is great! Great layout with bedrooms across 3 floors. Multiple living room type areas inside on 2 separate floors which really helps if you're traveling with children. If you want to hang outside, you can choose from an upstairs deck or a downstairs covered area that includes a jacuzzi and sauna. The sauna came in useful, helping sweat out the toxins from the prior night. At night, a nice firepit area for your enjoyment. Couldn't have asked for more!The owners were very responsive and helpful before and during our stay. Will definitely consider staying again!

Great winter getaway

We stayed at the house with our family and some old friends (5 kids total!) and had a great time. Plenty of space for everyone to hang-out, play games, watch movies and enjoy a fire! A good location near some cute restaurants, two small ski mountains and a bunch of great hikes. We went to Jim Thorpe, Jack Frost, Austin T. Blakeslee Natural Area, the Lehigh Gorge State Park- and even a trip out to Kalahari! Great place to visit with kids.

Awesome House!! Highly recommended

We had an amazing time in this VRBO. It’s a great mountain house with a nice hot tub and a sauna!! We used the game room/pool table all weekend, and had the fireplaces roaring! Awesome deck with 2 grills and a nice kitchen. Really great spot!

Great Ski Trip

My family and friends recently spent a week at this terrific home. We had 4 adults and 5 kids between ages 3-9. 5 bedrooms and two living spaces allowed us to adequately spread out. Hot tub and sauna were awesome. Home owner was incredibly responsive to all questions. 3 minute drive to Lake Harmony restaurants, 5 minutes to Big Boulder, and 20 minutes to Jack Frost. Highly recommend for parties of 1-2 families.

Beautiful Home and So Much to do!

The stay was phenomenal there was 7 of us that got together and it had everything we needed from a pool table to play some games to a jacuzzi to hang out and relax. The home was very clean, all the utensils we needed to bbq on the bbq and blackstone grill (which we loved to cook up breakfast and dinner). The location was key everything we wanted was with in 15 minutes from us including restaurants, grocery stores and fun activities like stock car racing and paintball. I would definitely stay here again everything listed in the post and pictures were on point.

Family Memories

This was the perfect set up for our family of 9 adults and 2 young children. The 3 levels with bedrooms/baths worked out well. The house was fully equipped with all we needed. The fire pit and sitting area (where we spent most of our time) was awesome. The chairs/log foot rests were comfortable and made for fun times of sharing stories, songs and much laughter. The only downside was some of the TV's and lack of instructions for using them. If we come back to the Lake Harmony, we would definitely look to rent this place again. Thanks for the Memories!

Loved the Harmony Jawn.

Had such a wonderful time at the Harmony Jawn. There were 6 adults (3 couples) and 5 kids (age 9 months-10 years old). Plenty of space for all of us. Definitely plan to come back again.

Condo on Lake Harmony

My family rented the condo for a long weekend it was very homey, stylish, functional and offered gorgeous views of the lake. My 4 year old son loved taking walks with our dog along the lake and feeding the ducks. The condo is in a great neighborhood and perfect location to everything. We visited the waterfalls, Jim Thorpe train ride, and the splitrock waterpark resort. Such a great weekend! Cant wait to return! Jess and her husband were very responsible and pleasant to work with! Highly recommend for a nice quiet getaway in the Poconos!

Best Experience Ever!

My girlfriends and I stayed at The Harmony Jawn for a bachelorette party and I’ve been looking for excuses to stay there again ever since! From start to finish our experience was everything you could ask for and more. Booking was a breeze and the owner was available to answer any and all questions we had. The house is absolute perfection. Cozy but incredibly spacious, impeccably clean, and so much to do within the house to make your stay the exact kind of getaway you want. I can’t say enough about how amazing this place was and how much fun we had. Our entire group said the space was perfect and several of them have since booked with them as well. I’ll go back time and time again and highly recommend for the perfect mountain house getaway. Absolutely loved it.

Perfect Jawn for a 40th!

We had the best weekend at The Jawn! I rented it out to surprise my lovely handsome husband for his 40th with his closest friends and family. There were 15 adults and it was the perfect size and fit for our needs! Jess the owner even decorated for me after I Amazon’d some decorations to the house, so they were up when we got there! The hot tub, sauna and pool table are an amazing addition to the house and we thoroughly enjoyed them! Thanks Jess and Mike! I think a girls trip to the house is in the near future :)

Couldn't have been happier!

We stayed here during the PA Wine Fest. Couldn't have asked for a better location. Rented a golf cart nearby to use to take us on the short trip to the Fest. Time back at the house was wonderful! House was so comfy, clean and well appointed! Kitchen had everything we needed. Our grandbabies loved the 'Hot Pool' (also known as a hot tub to most! lol) Adults did too! Also, it was my first time using a sauna, and found it very refreshing! Our family will definitely be coming back to this house again! Thinking of renting for a ski weekend soon, as the location to the slopes is awesome. You can see the ski trails from the deck off of the kitchen/living room area.

We will be back!

Cannot say enough good things about our stay at That Harmony Jawn. The location was incredible and allowed us to easily access all the Lake Harmony has to offer, but the amenities that the house offered made you feel like you never had to leave. My kids loved the huge private backyard and spent hours exploring the woods while the adults happily watched from the hot tub. We were so excited to come back that we booked our next stay before we left! I have recommended this home to everyone that I hear is looking for a place in the Poconos. We can’t wait to come back.

Yeah! That Harmony Jawn 🙌🏻❤️😎

Our stay was awesome! That Harmony Jawn did not disappoint. Very clean and stocked with whatever you needed. We had 10 boys with us and they never bugged us for stuff to do 👍🏻 Great location. Highly recommend!

Great Potential not fully achieved

Overall we had a great week. The house was pretty much as described in the listing but we had several issues. When our problems were reported to the owner, he demonstrated a real concern and quick response. He wants to achieve a 5 star rating & I believe he can if some of the issues we saw are addressed. In order to explain our rating, I will cite several areas for improvement. 1. The cleanliness of the home was not as good as we hoped. We found small amounts of food or trash under some of the furniture. Several items for food preparation or storage were not adequately cleaned. Overall, the condition of the equipment was good. It was just the maintenance of some of it that should be examined. 2. The internet quality was extremely variable. We had several teenage students with us that needed internet access to complete assignments during the week. At times, they could not do their work without interruption. At other times, there was no problem. With regard to other internet uses, TV, cell, computer, etc., the internet was good during the day but mediocre to non-existent late in the evening. To be fair, these conditions might be indicative of where the house is and what is available there. An examination of any options for improvement would be worthwhile. Our family had a great week and I was impressed with the responsiveness of the owner.

Beautiful and central

What a great weekend! We were a group of women coming from around the east coast to celebrate our dear friend getting married this fall. This little retreat at Lake Harmony was perfect for us. We enjoyed floating at the beach (bring your own floats), lounging in the hot tub, and chilling around the fire! Plenty of beds and room to hang out for our large group.
