This two-bedroom suite features a spacious living room with cable TV and DVD, also a futon that pulls out into a double bed. This could be used as an alternative sleeping area! The kitchen is located just off the living room and is equipped with 4 appliances, which includes a microwave, range, refrigerator, and dishwasher and also includes a dining area with table and chairs. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, and the second bedroom has a double size bed. The unit also has a private patio.

We had a great stay! Close to downtown, 10 min walk, if you take the path beside the Thai food place. Very clean. Kitchen is well stocked. The only thing I could recommend adding is some kitchen scissors. And some more hangers in the closets.Beds and pillows were very comfy. It's near the train tracks, but TBH we never really noticed them. You do hear the people above moving around, but not so much in the bedrooms, so it was fine. Overall, we enjoyed staying here, and would stay again. Great location!Host was great and explained everything about check in and parking thoroughly. I recommend.

Pros:1- excellent location2 - comfortable beds 3 - free parking 4 - dog-friendly5 - tea, coffee, and filters in kitchen6 - clean7 - luggage racksCons:1 - living space furnishings are NOT as pictured in listing. The listing shows a full-size leather or vinyl sofa - but in the space is an armless “sofa” that is hard and about the size of a loveseat. The accent chair in listing appears as a matching barrel style chair - but in the space is a black metal frame canvas sling chair. The dining set in listing appears to be a stone-top table with padded leather-look chairs - but in the space is a wooden dining set with hard wooden chairs. This is NOT about aesthetics but rather a desire to be comfortable at the end of the day. (I messaged host about the discrepancies. She stated the couch was replaced a week ago and she hasn’t updated pictures. She said NOTHING about the other furniture I mentioned - the chair & dining set - and when those were replaced).2 - in a unit that lacks AC, windows should be able to open, or fans provided - the second bedroom window does not open (I messaged the host who said she would check when I left)3 - for two adults for five nights there were only two bath towels and no washcloths 4 - hand soap is in the bathroom but there is no bar soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner5 - no hand soap in kitchen 6 - a pair of scissors would have been helpful, as would some foil or plastic wrap7 - there are 2 outdoor patio spaces but no patio furniture

The place was clean, had all the things you would need! We didn’t spend a whole lot of time in the condo, as we were out exploring! It would have been nice to have some outdoor furniture especially with the ad mentioning there was an outdoor space.

2 couples staying and visiting the surrounding area. The facility was just right for our needs. It was much quieter than expected so everyone slept well. Thank you for the free coffee and the dishwasher.

The instructions received for checking in were clear and effective. The apartment is well located. It is not very modern and the fact that it is a souterrain makes it a big smelly. I expected more for the price. I another chance to be in Canmore, I’d choose another place.

Good home base while visiting Banff NP

Property was described accurately. Parking was no problem, but we were there before the heavy tourist season. Grocery stores within walking distance as was the ice cream bus.

Everything was exactly like what the listing stated. Only had a small problem with parking on Saturday night. Lot was completely full so we simply parked across the street. We highly recommend.

Poor communication. No check out procedure defined and then penalized. Multiple excuses for “extra charges” without communicating. Tiny space. Tiny bed. Not suitable for 4 adults. Not as advertised.

Hi Allison, I am very sorry that you didn’t found the unit big enough. There is a king size, a double and a queen sofa bed, this info was in the description of the unit. I also apologize for the inconvenience with the lost of the key. it is written in our policies that in case of loss we do charge a $100 penalty.

Overall a good choice

My sister and I stayed here 6 nights. Before and during the trip, the owner was extremely responsive. The condo was exactly as pictured except for the dining chairs. The kitchen had ample plates, bowls and flatware. The frig, microwave, toaster and coffee maker were All in good shape. We didn’t cook at all in the unit. Kitchen was small but certainly adequate. The bathroom had a counter large enough for all our stuff. A hook or son to hang towels to dry would be a simple add.We only received two bath towels, two hand towels and two wash clothes for 6 nights. We would have preferred at least two bath towels each. Both beds were comfortable. Although the unit is pretty dated and decor and linens are basic, it was adequate for our needs overall. It is in a really good location to walk to many restaurants and attractions. Close to gas stations and a convenient store. Although our unit was on the side of the busy road, car noise was seldom heard (although we did not sleep with windows open). The big downside was noise from the unit above. The combination of little sound proofing between floors and very noisy people above who did things like move furniture around in the middle of the night led to most nights with disrupted sleep. The owner did offer to call security but we didn’t want to risk any altercations. Bring ear plugs for sure if you are a light sleeper. Unlike many VRBO rentals we’ve used, the owner had no long list of rules or check out procedures for us.
