The location was perfect for walking into Pukekura Park, into town, or to the ocean. Even though it was cold when we stayed, the townhouse was remarkably warm, we did not need to use the heater at all. The beds were very comfy, and it had everything we needed. We stayed for 2 weeks and the only problem was the lack of kitchen utensils for cooking meals eg decent knives for food prep, potato masher, sieve, some bowls, and a proper frypan with a lid would have been great. Maybe some foil and cling wrap would be good too. It didn't affect our time there though, we will definitely book this place again next time we're in New Plymouth.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property is generally dated, run down and in need of investment. We were disgusted to discover cockroaches throughout the property. When I raised this with the office the tone of the person that I dealt with was condescending and sarcastic. I will be raising a fuller formal complaint with photographs
