Sadly, I think you picked the wrong area. In my description of the suite, I mention a 1 acre wooded lot in a neighbourhood. Though there are tons of quiet days at my place, a sunny Mother’s Day is not one of them. This neighbourhood is lovely and respectful but I can’t control what my neighbours have in their yards or the noise they make in them. You’re right, if you want to sit out on a deck and play your guitar and paint in quiet reflection, you’ll have some interruptions. You needed a cabin in the woods by yourself. I’m not sure how many are for rent on Gali or the price but you might get lucky. As for me being there, that the bylaw, but I was also visiting my mother where I usually reside. Not to mention the house always needing something. The grass doesn’t cut it self, plants need watering and the house looks the way it does because I take care of it. I do those things when people are out. Over all, I’m sorry you didn’t have the experience you were looking for at our place. I don’t like that either. Maybe contact the owner before you book to avoid future confusion. All the best. C
