We stayed four nights, and it was the second time we have stayed at this property. The property is in a fantastic location close to the CBD and all the great Canberra activities. Braddon also has amazing restaurants. The backyard was totally enclosed and perfect for our toy poodle.

After checking in we received a message ftom host that we had to vacate between 10.30 - 10.45 am next day taking all our food & belongings with us so an agent could run an open house inspection as property has been listed for full time rental. We refused on grounds of invasion of privacy. Owner rudely said not leaving was not an option ! It took an hour of near midnight phone call to US based Stayz to get them to respond to owner who didnt answer their calls - he was probably sleeping soundly while we were all worried about whether we were safe in the house. There was no thought on the owner/Stayz part about providing cleaners after the open house or the inconvenience to us, so we decided to wait & refuse entry to anyone that showed up. Stayz (Vbro) called at 10.25am offering alternate accommodation in a motel (3 seperate rooms) 40minutes drive away from the event we were in Braddon for. The agent showed up at 10.30 with over a dozen people in tow. They quickly left. The audacity of the host to have unrealistic expectation on his guests astounds me. This house is far from beautiful. It is very old and in need of upgrade & repair if he wants to charge the rates he does. The garage eerily has windows all taped up with black plastic and strong lights glow from it during the night. A warning also that shower is in bath tub so not suitable if a guest has mobility issues.A bad experience & this host should be suspended for violating host contract. We wont be back.

Great location

Thanks to Christos for a great stay. ThIS property is perfectly located just a short walk into Braddon and then on to the city. The house was warm, clean and the kitchen nicely stocked with some essential condiments. The beds were comfy and great to have the double bunk setup for our two kids. We were very grateful also for Christos to arrange for some items we accidentally left on our departure. We hope to be back to stay next time we are in the ACT.
