So much can be said about the Bluewater Resort in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Not only is it located on the oceanfront but this high-rise resort features a pool deck that wraps around two sides of the resort property. Incredible Ocean-Front Getaway
All in all, I cannot let a couple small things bring any of my ratings down below 5 stars. Couple hiccups on arrival. But the host took care of these and our stay was incredible. Accomodations were as described. Could use a little updating and possibly a few more amenities for the guest. But after reading horror story after horror story of what other experienced at other locations, with other hosts, I think we did VERY well. Facility was outstanding, with multiple pools, hot tub, restaurant, etc. Its more towards South Myrtle, but close enough to everything. I would definitely use Elliot again.

Perfect beach location!
This condo is in an absolutely perfect location, and the building security was a nice bonus! My only (very minor) complaint is the coffee pot was missing the handle and top, but everything else you could need was in the kitchen and ready to go. Lots of seating for the whole family, and even included some board games. We would stay here again!

La unidad es espaciosa yes la.primera vez que veo un balcon tan grande en un resort. Nuestras vacaiones estuvieron geniales. Solo 3 observaciones: 1. La banera del master estaba tapada, habia mucho cabello atascado y el agua no drenaba. Deapues que lo limpie todo estuvo bien. 2. El lavadero de la cocina tiene una gotera. Tuve que poner un recipiente debajo de la tuberia del lavadero para recolectar el agua. 3. La cafetera funciona pero el vaso de la cafetera no tiene tapa asi que no cae el cafe. Sugiero que cambien la cafetera por una nueva. A parte de esto el apartamento es genial, suficientes toallas y sabanas. La cocina es pequena pero funcional. El r Estacionamiento esta cruzando la calle, super cerca. El resort tiene carritos de supermercado para poder subir las compras. Es la primera vez que veo esto en un resort y es SUPER UTIL. Las pisicnas estan limpias. Y tien una piscina que tiene una piscina, que la mitad es cubierta yla otra mitad no. La verdad es que todo estaba bien. Recomendaria que tuvieran mas juegos de mesa y pongan luz en el balcon. Regresaremos pronto. 100% recomendado.

Great location, needs cleaned and updated
The location of this place was great. The view from the balcony absolutely amazing. Other than that we probably would have stayed somewhere else had we seen the property in person before. The cleanliness of the place was not good at all. There was pee around the base of the toilet. The carpets in the bedrooms looked and felt so grimy. The door to the laundry room was barely hanging on. You could barely get the balcony door open and closed. The place has not been updated. The amount of caked on dirt and grime on the cabinets and hinges was icky. The walls and doors need a good cleaning and repainted. This place has so much potential. It’s really a great location and if the owners could put a little effort in updating things and hiring a good cleaning company this place would be perfect. The check in process is kind of a pain. You have to visit a company 10 minutes away and then also go back to that place to check out. As much as we paid per night and in cleaning fees, this place should have been a lot cleaner.

My experience
Was not completely happy with his property. We arrived around 5:30 PM, check-in was at 3 PM. We got there our room has not been clean. I had to wait two hours to be able to go back into our room and unpack. Once we got checked in the room was not very clean. There were only four towels and four washcloth to do us for eight days. The towels were so old and cheap we could barely even dry off with them. There were no hand towels at all, no kitchen hand towels or oven mitts at all. No rags nothing. As much money as we spent to stay at this place I should not have to went to the store to buy those items. We also had strangers walk into our condo while we were all laying in bed. The owners apparently didn’t know that we were there and gave another family their code to get in. The condo looks like it has not been updated since the 80s. I will say that the building itself , the lobby and beach area was very nice.
