We loved our stay at this cabin! Everything is as pictured, clean, spacious and on a quiet street kids could ride their bikes on. We rode our bikes to the donut/coffee shop and then on a beautiful paved trail that is all close to the cabin. Zoo is walking distance too. Beds were comfortable & we enjoyed the backyard deck and fire pit. Would definitely stay here again.

Cozy Cabin

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at the Cabin. The property owner was very communicative and offered some upgrades. We stuck to this property because we wanted to be able to walk to the slopes but the Moonridge Lot was closed during our stay. So, we had to drive to the slopes which was a bit of a bummer since we had pick this place amongst other places due to the walkability to the slopes. Either way, the place was nice and cozy. We loved their long dining table that left ample room for dinner and board games. The beds were comfortable. One caveat was that there were a few spider webs in a few places but we dealt with it since it was an older cabin. It was still a decent place to stay for a Big Bear getaway.

Great location

Great location, very close to Big Bear Ski Resort and close to town amenities. Nice size for our family of 5. Was not happy with overall cleanliness. Kitchen was clean but bedroom nightstands needed a good cleaning. Re-washed pans and silverware before use because of residue left on them. Toaster did not work. Internet was excellent. Some cable channels available, but did not watch too much TV. Overall, happy with less than 5 min drive to the slopes. Would have been a long walk uphill to the slopes.

Relaxing Snow vacation

Thank you for making the process easy. Really appreciated getting to enjoy the late check out!! It’s a sweet cabin, really enjoyed the snow! Thank you!! The stair rail for bunk bed is broken, safety hazard. Under beds didn’t look swept, old items there. The coffee machine and dishwasher doesn’t work. Curtain for large window in living room doesn’t work. It’s needed to enjoy the view. Windows were dirty.

Reviewer Comments: We recently stayed at Aggie's Ski Den and enjoyed the space and location. The home has been updated but still has a cabin feel which is nice. It is an easy drive to Bear Mtn and close to Moonridge shuttle. We drove but I suspect there is way to walk the 1/2 mile to Bear Mtn. The only issue we had was with the management company. VRBO charges many fees for management etc and in our case the management company was more of a hindrance than assistance and very unprofessional. I will use Air BB next time.

Quiet, and near all the fun-est places!

This was a lovely cabin. I enjoyed everything about it. However it did have some quirks (negatives): >First, there were a LOT of spider webs. I didn't really mind, but my wife and 4 kids had the heebie-jebies the entire stay. (MANAGEMENT: Please ask your cleaning services to vacuum the webs around the windows, in the kitchen, next to the beds, and BEHIND THE DRAPES [there were about 50 fly corpses behind the one in the living room]) >Second, there was NO trash pickup, but we found out that this is what the CITY requires and is not the fault of the Cabin managers. That all said, it was a very nice cabin, with really nice neighbors, in a quiet, beautiful location, close to all the tourist attractions. We would love to stay there again.

Family Winter Weekend Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home has a great family room with an oversized dining table and comfy couches to lounge on. It’s newer and is kept up and clean. There is a big deck in the back, but that takes over almost the entire backyard. The house is directly at the corner of an intersection and has more space in the front than back. If you’re looking for a woodsy, forest, hill type of location, this is not it. The kitchen also doesn’t have any pots or pans so we were lucky that the other couple was coming later and we could ask them to bring it. Overall a good experience and since it actually snowed that weekend, the kids still had lots of snow play, even with the lack of a backyard.

Oven door wouldn’t close, outside patio deck, table and chairs covered in dead pine needles. No Keurig coffee machine. Emailed my concerns to several of the property management team. Received apologies and assurance they would speak to cleaning crew. Asked that my credit card be refunded the $165.00 cleaning fee (because the place and bedding was very dusty, cobwebs, dead insects), no response after that email was sent.

The living room is very large and a perfect hang out spot and the house was very clean. It was convenient to get to the mountain and restaurants and was walking distance to the zoo which our kids loved. The check in process was a bit of a pain and they dont provide trash bags or paper towels which I wasnt used to with other rentals. But overall a nice place to stay.

Long Weekend in Big Bear

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cabin is in a great location. It has a nice layout and is reasonable comfortable. There were a number of items that are either broken or don't work very well. The furniture is ok. The beds are not very comfortable. The WIFI didn't work because the password was not known by the rental company. Once we had the correct network password, the WIFI was excellent. The garbage disposal didn't work, nor did the microwave. The rental company did get all of these issue fixed by our second day in the cabin. The maintenance staff was great! One other issue that should be fixed is the stove. Its gas and works great, except that the oven door is sprung and leaks heat so using the oven is probably using a lot more gas than is necessary. I liked this cabin a lot. Its deck was nice and big and had usable, all be it tried charcoal BBQ. Parking was good and easy to enter and exit. Definitely needs some updates including new window shades and better bedding. The kitchen has a lot of stuff and can probably satisfy most cooking needs. One last comment, the rental company needs to do a better inspection and prep prior to a rental. All of the issues we had should have been taken care of before we occupied the rental. We would also consider this cabin for future trips to Big Bear.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Contactless check-in & check-out was very convenient. Large dining table with bench seating. The oven door would not close and masking tape had been used as a fix, not good or safe. No oven mitts provided. The refrigerator ice maker does not work. The location was quiet, and the open patio deck provides a small view of the golf course. Also, located close to the trash collection site. Hiking trails close by above Bear Mountain. We enjoyed taking the chair lift up Snow Summit.

This cabin has beautiful wooden floors throughout, a dining room to seat up to 12, and a comfortable living room with a large L-shaped couch. You will find French doors that open to a deck with a small table and chairs. A perfect place to sit and have your morning coffee!
