Perfect for large group

The outdoor seating could be better as chairs are worn and some unusable. 2nd stay and would likely return.

Comfortable Lake House in a Gorgeous Area

We came for a family vacation. Overall, we were comfortable and enjoyed ourselves. The home accommodated six adults and two teens and is in a quiet, spacious and VERY beautiful location. We used the kayaks, paddles and life jackets provided to enjoy time on the lake. There was plenty of wood for bonfires which we also really appreciated. A note somewhere with instructions about wifi, where to dispose of garbage / recycling / organic would have been helpful and a few brochures about local attractions would have been a nice touch. Nearby the home, we saw a doe with her young deer which I thought was really special.

Quiet place to kayak

The water was great for kayaking but was very weedy so no good for swimming. There was only 1 good bed, 1 was dirty & had dog prints under the bottom sheet, & 1 was a small cheap cot. Under the beds were dirty. The sheets & blankets were very scented & there were real flowers in almost every room, pretty but not great for people with allergies. There were moldy buns in the fridge & outdated condiments. The homeowner yelled at my daughter for parking near the septic tank, but there was no mention of where it was, & her car was broke down in the front of the driveway. Overall we still had a great time but would not return again.

Amazing location but disappointing accommodations

The location of this cottage is incredible. The dock is amazing and the river is 5 stars. The cottage itself is disappointing. Under amenities, it shows there is a hot tub - this house does not have a hot tub. There were so many flies in the house with no fly traps, the beds are rock hard and some of the dishes in the cupboards needed to be washed before we used them. And the couch in the basement is fully broken.The most upsetting part of our stay was the BBQ. It looks brand new but was incredibly filthy. We tried to use it which resulted in a massive grease fire. On a wood deck with two full propane tanks beside the BBQ. We were able to cut off the gas and let the owner know but we were dismissed and told BBQ's don't trap grease and to let it burn off. All of us are home owners with our own BBQ's and understood how dangerous this situation was. The grease trap was full and none of us felt safe enough to use the BBQ again. Luckily there is a nice oven inside so we could still cook our meals together.

Great location and property

Location was amazing, right on the water. We were able to kayak and SUP our entire stay. Janice was an amazing host. She shared so much of her local knowledge that we experienced things we may have missed had she not told us. Drive from Toronto is very easy. Hoping to stay there again.

Wonderful cottage, fully equipped with everything you need and with an incredible view. We were very comfortable and didn't miss anything. Communication was perfect. Would definitely go back!

A lot of cottage for the money, similar property on road rents for 800 per day
Shoreline is a bit muddy but has been improved to allow weeding out to about Waist deep
Easily accommodates two small families or one large one
One or two well-behaved pets are welcome

All principal rooms have lovely view of the water large yard with fire pit large screen porch to sit in the evenings rental includes kayaks canoe paddle boat etc.One or two well-behaved pets are welcome
You will love the screen porch on the road side in the open deck on the water side property has AC heat indoor fireplace

Rental includes linens cleaning supplies basic hygiene supplies such as toilet paper and soap
