Summary:
Renew at Tate Tanglewood is a three-bedroom/1413 sqft apartment located in Houston and is just a few minutes from Gerald D. Hines Waterwall and Galleria Shopping District.

The Space:
Upon entering, you’ll be met by the living room which has a sofa bed and flat-screen TV. The adjacent kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and porcelain dinnerware. The primary bedroom has a queen-size bed and an en suite bathroom. The second and third bedroom have  queen beds. The spacious patio is furnished with a set of chairs and table.


During your stay, you’ll have access to all of the community’s amenities including the onsite fitness center,  resort style pool, and club house with a pool table. 

Please note that parties are not permitted at this home. There are tons of upscale dining and bars just a short distance away.

The Neighborhood:
Located in the Tanglewood neighborhood, this home is located near the hustle and bustle of Uptown and River Oaks with the location of quiet residential living. Downtown Houston is short 15 minute drive through the gorgeous Memorial Drive, while access to the 610 Highway is 5 minutes away for eaze of access to Houston.

Getting Around:
Public transportation is available in close proximity to the home. It is located at Fountain View Dr and Inwood Dr Stop ID: 11751

- Packages can be delivered to the building. Please note that Oasis Collections cannot take responsibility for lost or undelivered packages.
- When placing an order, make sure to add the complete address, full name, and the specific unit where you reside.

multi-week stay with family
My family stayed in the apartment for nearly 6 weeks during a home renovation. The apartment was accurate as advertised based on the photos but we did have some small to medium issues during our stay that would prevent me from staying here again: Street noise - the unit is located just above the intersection and we would hear street noise of cars at all hours. It woke my family up multiple times. Access to building - everything is managed through an online app the management company gives you access to. The day we arrived the access did not work and we were delayed getting moved in. While the management company always responded and tried to help, it seemed they were also confused and didnt understand the system well. We also lost access randomly in the middle of our stay and had a car full of crying children needing to use the bathroom while we were locked out of the building. Very frustrating experience. After our stay, we were notified by the management company some of the linens needed replacing and there was a parking pass they could not locate and were charging me to replace. This was incredibly frustrating as the linens appeared to just need washing, and I never had a parking pass (all access was managed through the app). After paying for SIX WEEKS of rent to be charged for these things left us frustrated with the experience and we would not return or recommend staying here to friends or family.

Nice Unit- Poor Maintenance and Building Upkeep
The unit itself was clean and spacious. We had several issues that were not resolved or responded to that had a huge impact on our stay. The sink leaked and was never repaired- we had to place a bowl underneath the leaking pipe. The elevator was down for 2.5 days. Every door in the building was left open- no need to use access anyone can enter the main entry and garage floor entrances. The power in the secondary restroom went out due to a breaker issue and was never fixed. We had no power for 2 days in that restroom. I was told I would be sent a gift card for the issues but have not received any follow up or gift card. I understand they need to use the building maintenance but no one seemed to care or follow up. When I asked the staff about the work orders they said ‘ I think I have a note’ but simply walked away. The ‘manager’ said they were working on an hvac issue in another unit and would address our lights but no one ever came or followed up. I called, texted, and emailed for responses and the issues were not fixed and there was nothing further acknowledged after check out. Very disappointing, I have never had an experience like this before with. VRBO rental.
