Lovely cottage, really relaxing stay

As always, we had a great stay at Ithaca. It’s so well-equipped (kitchen especially), the beds are really comfortable and the a/c does the job even in the hot Mudgee summer! I can’t think of a more relaxing place to be. We’ll be back 😊

Great farm-stay.

We had a great time. Great outlook, out of town away from it all. Good facilities. If you bring dogs, be aware there are sheep grazing in the surrounding paddocks, and there is a great large dog enclosure at the front so you can go out for trips knowing they're safe. Recommended.

Ithaca Cottage

We had an amazing time in Mudgee staying at Ithaca cottage, all communication and guides sent across were great and the cottage is so beautiful and quiet in a stunning location with alpacas, sheep, kangaroos, cows and bunnies all present on our dog walks. Fully fenced for anyone with dogs and only 15min or so to the town and even less to the wineries, would definitely recommend!

Beautiful place to recharge and connect with loved ones.

This was our 7th year at Ithaca Cottage. We (my brother and I, my daughter and her husband) love the place. Great for 4 aduls needing 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Out of town but not too far, quiet and peaceful. Great, well equpped kitchen. Wonderful place to relax.

Great place for family bonding

I, my brother, my daughter and her husband have been coming to Mudgee for a few days every year, the last 3byears ti Ithaca Cottage. We love it. Kitchen really well equipped, area a bit out of town so very quiet. Well fanced yard that is great for the dog. We love the quirkiness of some of the decor and the comfort of the fire on a cold night. We'll be back next year, we hope.

A Relaxing Gem

What a great place to stay and unwind. The home was comfortable, well presented and was so well stocked. Victoria was so easy to deal with and nothing was a problem. We had a relaxing time at the property which is what we all needed. A perfect tonic. The views from both the front and rear verandahs just added to the enjoyment of the stay. Thoroughly recommended.

Little gem in a rural setting

We had a wonderful stay at Ithaca. It was perfect for us, the house is very comfortable and everything that you could possibly need was provided. It was lovely staying in a rural setting away from the bustle of town but still close enough that the driving was never an issue. And with the cold snap that arrived, the slow combustion fire was much needed....we were very happy about that. Thank you!

This was our 8th year at Ithaca Cottage. We love that it is out of town enough to really get away from it all for our intergenerational family of city dwellers, but close enough to access wineries, breweries, and the town for the supplies we always forget. As an added bonus, there were 23 lambs in the home paddock, and one late afternoon we counted 17 kangaroos in the neighbour's back paddock and wallabies in the rocky outcrop across the road. There's always plenty of wood and kindling for the fire, too. A magical place to refresh. And a great kitchen, well-equipped for sharing meal creation.

The tiny house was very different to what we were used to so it was a great experience. Everything was there that we needed. Only issue was the house just near ours had a group of guys staying there and the first night they were there they got back about midnight and were very noisy for about an hour. After that it was fine. I would recommend this place to anybody except if you have mobility issues as the stairs up to the bed were very narrow - but the bed was very comfortable.

Beautiful getaway!

We had an incredible time here. The view of the surrounding landscape is spectacular, the yard is fully fenced and was great for the kids to kick a ball around, the house had everything we needed and more. The kitchen is amazing and has more to offer than any other holiday rental we have ever stayed at. Our favourite parts were waking up to the sound of lambs and birds, and watching a storm roll over the paddocks.

Relaxing stay with the hounds

We spent another great week at Ithaca Cottage with our hounds. The property is fully fenced, with an additional enclosure, so it was very safe to leave the dogs behind whilst we were sampling Mudgee's wineries and having long lunches. Property was clean and the perfect place to have a week of downtime. Would definitely recommend to anyone travelling with their dog/s.
