This 1st floor 3 bedroom apartment is located 50 metres from Manly Beach and 5 minutes walk to the Corso with all of its fabulous restaurants and cafes. You will be literally seconds to Manly Lifesaving Club where the daily swim from Manly to Shelly Beach and back starts. It is also the safest place to swim at Manly Beach between the flags! For your morning coffee ( or breakfast, lunch and dinner) head to Manly Wine which is around the corner. If you walk straight up Ashburner Street you'll find yourself at the harbour with its crystal clear calm waters and iconic Manly Wharf. The property itself has a large balcony, quiet street, ocean outlook and off street parking.

Home Truths

• Please note the AC is only in the master bedroom and lounge room not in the second and third bedroom. Pedestal fans are provided in other bedrooms.

• Ashburner Street is a one way street. Access the property from .

• Amazing location and homely interiors, but the kitchen is a bit tired.

• The apartment shares a common stairwell and internal garage access with the other apartment. It is not a secure stairwell.

• Comfortable interior which is why we have given the property 3 star rating.  Its a solid, functional property in a great location, but not a luxury / 5 star experience.

• The ensuite bathroom connected to the master bedroom is average size.

Wonderful place with great location. We enjoyed the place and it was withing walking distance to the beach and wharf. The bathroom in the main bedroom is really small. I asked about this from the pictures and was told is was average size. It isn't even close.

Fantastic location for this apartment! We just loved how close it was to everything in Manly. It was so nice to be able to walk everywhere. The apartment was clean and had comfortable beds. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great stay/ Short walk to the Beach

We had a great time at the property. It's a 2 minute walk to the beach, shops, etc. 10 min. walk to the Manly ferry. Great location. Layout worked well for a family of 5, the covered porch (we had the 1st floor unit) was great in all types of weather. Garage parking was great based on how busy the area is and the extra parking spot was ideal for visitors.

Not executive, little rundown

Location is great, size of unit is comfortable. But hard to get in touch with property company. Dead cockroach in kitchen when we arrived, then found 2 more live ones. Holes and rust stains on exterior walls, toilet seat broken, showers so small can barely brings your arms up to wash hair. We booked it for 3 weeks, but left after 5 days. We complained first to property mgr, but they simply put a plant in front of one of the holes/stains on exterior wall.

Family vacation

Great location. 5 minute walk to beach and Corso. 10 minutes to wharf. Easy access to Ferry and trains. Condo was spacious and clean, beds comfortable. Would recommend a larger sink in master bath. Kitchen cabinets need replacing, they are in bad shape. Also residents next door were very vocal about us being quiet. Quiet time is 9:30 and she opened her window at 8:30 to announce she had a baby sleeping and for us to be quiet. My daughter seen a spider and squealed loudly and it upset the neighbor. One more suggestion is to put a permanent light in the dark stairwell leading to garage. It’s on a short timer and we almost fell down the stairs. Other than that a few upgrades and this is a great condo with a great location.

Although in a good location, this property turned out to be a big disappointment. We arrived to find it extremely dirty with all three bedrooms having thick dust/dirt on the window blinds (which hung over the beds) and swags of cobwebs. The property manager responded promptly saying that the cleaning company had let them down and upon seeing the evidence agreed that the state of the rooms was unacceptable and a risk to people with allergies. Of the two air conditioning units advertised, only one worked and both were filthy with grimy condensation and mould marks. The cleaning issues were addressed during our stay. Although the property is described as simply dated which we were happy to accept, it is, in fact, in quite poor condition with cracks in the walls which allow debris to fall onto one of the beds and plant roots pushing through from the outside which had spread about a metre down one bedroom wall. The window frames are corroding and the insect screens are damaged. A number of the panels on the vertical drapes in the living area were missing, leaving large gaps when closed which affected privacy. One of the two TVs did not work. Even the little touches were a miss - like the advertised Sonos speaker nowhere to be seen and the ‘Welcome’ pack featuring consumables some six months out of date. The property management company has been approachable and we are currently negotiating fair recompense for the less than welcoming experience and inconvenience caused.
