It’s lovely to know that you enjoyed the charm of the property, with its high ceilings and beautiful floorboards, as well as the beach-inspired decor. The location really is fantastic, with Henley Hotel and downtown Henley just a short walk away. We appreciate your understanding about the early closures—it can be quite a change from Sydney! Contact with this guest was troublesome from the onset of booking. Our staff attended promptly and courteously to all of the correspondence from the guest including offering to have the cleaning team attend to remake beds with clean sheets which the guest refused from report received of issue. Whilst the coat hangers supplied are standard for all short stay properties our team were happy to remedy this request and attended the next day to provide the guest with 12 additional coat hangers as well as a complimentary bottle of wine. The door handle at the property was resolved quickly by the guest who again refused to allow our maintenance team to attend while they were at the property insisting that they did not want their stay interrupted. Our guests have loved the character of this property and we are disappointed this guest did not enjoy their stay. We would suggest hotel stays are more suited to this guests expectation with a 24 hour concierge service rather than the self catering stay that was booked.
