The Honeymoon of our Dreams

We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Keith, Francee, and their beautiful cottage!My husband and I were celebrating our honeymoon in the North Georgia mountains when our original rental unexpectedly fell through. IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT, Keith and Francee graciously accommodated us on incredibly short notice and quite literally saved our honeymoon! We would have had to go back home if it weren’t for them. What started as a stressful and disappointing situation turned into such a blessing. Their cottage was absolutely beautiful, peaceful, spotless, and everything we could have hoped for during such a special trip. It was the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy everything we love about the North Georgia mountains. Tallulah Falls was 8 minutes away, and beautiful downtown Clayton was just 20 minutes away, this is an EXCELLENT location. Beyond the beautiful accommodations, it was their kindness and hospitality that made this stay so unforgettable. They went above and beyond when we needed it most, and we will forever be grateful.Our honeymoon was more magical than we ever imagined, and Keith and Francee played such a special part in making that possible. We left with full hearts, wonderful memories, and every intention of returning someday. Thank you both from the bottom of our hearts! 🤍

The Gatehouse was perfect for my visit (it has air-conditioning!)

I was in the area for a family gathering in The Orchard Golf & County Club community. The Gatehouse is located about 1 mile from The Orchard's entrance gate so the location was perfect.When I booked the rental back in early March of 2026, the listing indicated that the rental did not have A/C. I debated for a while before booking but due to the location I decided to go ahead. Turns out that the listing was incorrect. The rental was airconditioned. This rental HAS fully modern A/C and and heating. The rental was very clean and comfortable and equipped with everything you need for your visit. Based on the guest book, the Gatehouse has been a rental for 3 years. It looks like it was built within the last year. Highly recommend this rental and will likely stay here again in for future family gatherings.

Perfect Cottage-Wheelchair recovery

I had to have lower leg surgery, which required full wheelchair use for 5 days. I was unable to do this at our home up in the mountains. This thoughtful cottage was perfect for us and felt like home! Keith was an amazing and kind host providing anything we needed. Enjoyed being able to sit on the porch and the view of the farm was beautiful and relaxing. Couldn’t ask for more. Thank you!

Relaxing stay with some bees

When, we arrived the cottage was clean and nicely staged. Everything was provided as promised by our liason Keith. The property grounds were nice as well. I have two quips about my stay but nothing to make you not want to stay at this lovely cottage. One maybe have an additional roll of toilet paper and two, we had Bee company. The cottage has a slight bee problem on the front near the only bedroom and one developing at the light outside in the front under the deck. I like fresh honey but those bees were not sharing. I wasn't willing to get stung. All in all the check in was easy, the stay relaxing and just what we needed. In the future we will definitely stay again if available.
