I am sorry that leaving icy poles in the freezer and margarine, condiments and Baileys in the fridge (which you took full advantage of and of which you were most welcome to) led you to believe the house had not been cleaned between tenants. We also leave pantry staples for our guests convenience too. The pool was cleaned on the Sunday prior to your Thursday arrival and the cover immediately replaced back on. If you had of contacted us we would have done our very best to rectify this. I do note that a month later I had the opportunity to visit the property and the pool water tested perfectly and there was a very small amount of leaves at that time. The step in the second bathroom - this is an addition to the house after it was built is unavoidable when dealing with a slab. The pipe work has to go somewhere. I have updated the photos to provide a better view. As for bugs and cobwebs the outside of the house was pressure washed a fortnight before your stay - I have however booked the exterminator for a spray to avoid any future issues.
