Located in the highly desirable town of Chatham, this five bedroom, three bath rental home will meet all your vacation needs. Sleeping twelve people comfortably, you will have plenty of room to enjoy your stay in the large living room while the kids hang out in the adjoining family room. Featuring a first floor king master bedroom plus 2 queen bedrooms, 1 king bedroom, and bunk room with 4 single beds upstairs, there are plenty of options for sleeping arrangements. Charmingly appointed, everything you need to enjoy your time here is accounted for: an outdoor shower to rinse off after a day at the beach, gas grill on the spacious deck, plenty of parking, great location and a quick walk down the neighborhood path to Emery Pond for kayaking and swimming! Plus, air hockey and ping pong in the basement for those rainy days and corn hole boards for the sunny ones! Located just 1.4 miles to Main Street (a 15-minute ride on the bike path), you and your guests will have an easy time experiencing the outstanding dining and shopping that Chatham has to offer, or bring your tennis rackets and play a match at one of the several public courts. Be sure to stop by the famous Chatham Squire Restaurant and have some of the best fried seafood on Cape Cod, or head over to the world-renowned Chatham Bars Inn and enjoy a drink at their beach bar. You have easy drives to some of the best beaches around like Lighthouse Beach, Hardings Beach, or Ridgevale Beach. This home is also perfectly suited for weekend retreats in the spring or fall. Getting married? Spend time with your wedding party in this expansive home and enjoy getting ready under one roof together! Central AC throughout the home will keep you cool on those balmy summer days.
Tenants provide their own linens and towels. No pets please. Seven night minimum in the peak season, Sat. to Sat. Three night minimum the rest of the year. Subject to applicable taxes and fees. All Robert Paul Vacation Rental bookings include a non-refundable $250 fee that includes administrative fee and damage waiver assurance for self-reported incidental damage up to $1,000.00. Upon receipt of a booking request, an agent will reach out to discuss additional security protection which may be required at this property.

Size and equipment was well represented. Yard and deck were pretty overgrown, limiting the utility for the small kids playing. Driveway very steep but this was known from previous reviews. The path to Emery Pond so overgrown that perhaps pond access should not be mentioned.

Pricey but nice and well stocked

AC was cold, but glad to have it when it was hot. House was comfy and huge. Outdoor shower, dining and grill were a huge plus. Game room in the basement, beach chairs, boogie boards and kayaks, were nice too. We tried to follow the described "path" to the pond, but it was overgrown, full of poison ivy, and you needed to go into neighbors' patio area to reach the pond. We would stay there again.

Great time!

We’ve vacationed on the Cape for over 40 years and and highly recommend The Coast is Clear. Beautiful home in a great location with every amenity. Clean with comfortable beds and a kitchen well stocked with plenty of dishes,etc. Private deck to enjoy morning coffee and dinners. Our grandsons loved using the kayaks on the nearby pond and the foldable poker table was a hit! If you have a larger family, this is where you want to be. We are already thinking about next summer!

Chatham weekend

Overall property was fine, they do not have central air so the living room, kitchen and main areas of the house were sitting at 76-81° during our stay. Rooms were not clean and there was mold in bathroom on 2nd floor There was quite a musty smell coming from the basement although we still thoroughly enjoyed the ping pong table. Water pressure in the showers were great.

We are so sorry about the house getting so warm. Central A/C was installed in the house in spring of 2024 so it will be much dryer and more comfortable going forward.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was perfect for our large family, we were able to walk or bike to town . The front yard was a bit unkept but we mowed the grass and it was fine after that. The only thing is we had a issue with one of our cars, it needed to be towed and the neighbor across the street got a bit annoyed with the tow truck being there which was absolutely ridiculous behavior.

Good Location In Chatam

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we had a good week. It would have been helpful to know the layout of the home ahead of time. Master Suite/bathroom are on the first floor. Another full bath is located just across from the Master Suite. There are 4 bedrooms with one full bath on the second floor. That was a bit of a challenge at times with 7 adults sleeping on that floor. Also, the home is located on a very narrow street with a steep driveway. It was challenging to juggle 3 cars, trying to leave room for others to pull in/out. Perhaps trimming the shrubs back a little more would be helpful.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Other than finding, confirming and paying for the rental we had no contact with the property management company.The only issue with the location is Agnes Lane itself. It is difficult to enter and exit onto or off of Queen Ann Rd. We got the hang of it by the time we were leaving.There's only one issue with the property itself. We'd have liked to be able to open more windows, more screens needed. The upstairs got stuffy though it was not always hot enough to have the air conditioners going.It was great to have a table on the deck that easily sat all of us. (Trees need trimming at deck rail) Kitchen is remarkable well stocked with cooking/serving tools. And lots and lots of beach playthings in the garage.A great house for 3 generations of family to enjoy.

Nice home

The vacuum did not work so it was difficult to keep the house clean. We were also not aware that the house was directly under the flight path for the airport. Planes were flying over most of Sat and Sun. The rest of the week was not as bad. The house is beautiful and perfect for a family vacation.

Family Week at the Chatham Charmer

So great to have space to enjoy my siblings and their off-spring! We sold our large home in May, so needed a good size house to accommodate. Realtor was responsive, owners very accommodating. The only thing we didn't get to was S'MORES!!!! Next time. Chatham, Harwichport, Orleans, Dennis, Brewster, even West Yarmouth very easy to get to. Fabulous location. Beaches: Harding, Skaket, Mayflower, awesome!!! AND, of course don't miss Chatham Bars Inn, the seals at the harbor, and Wequassett! Thank you! Great vacation!!

Lots of space for a big family

Well-appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, great deck, and very clean. The only suggestion I would make is the need for air conditioners in the living room and dining area.

Nice house for a large-ish group

Clean and spacious house for our group of 12. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch and grilling fish on the grill. Well stocked with beach stuff - chairs, 2 kayaks, boogie-boards, etc. My only two down sides were that it was close to the airport - so lots of planes flying over the porch in the AM/pm, and not as close to the bike trails as I would have liked. Pond was across the street, but no beach or easy access to launch boats or paddleboards.

Ideal house for large group.

The house has everything you could want for a cape vacation. We had a group of 12 that was easily accommodated. There were plenty of games and videos available. The kitchen and bathrooms were all well supplied. An excellent experience.

Family Vacation

We enjoyed our stay and had plenty of room for the 10 of us. Our grandchildren enjoyed the closet filled with toys and games. Great location...close to beaches and downtown!

Family Get Together

The house is in a lovely neighborhood. The house accommodated our family needs very well. Upon arrival the house definitely had a musty smell which seemed to emanate from the basement play room (we did not use the room because of this). It had a dehumidifier going, but it is probably too small for the space. Once we opened all the windows and doors, the smell did dissipate from the living areas. The fridge took well over a day to come to cold and we had to move things to the freezer to keep them from going bad the first day. We could not gain access to the pond; it seemed to be gated and very overgrown so there was no water views. The yard was great for cornhole and the fire pit lovely at night.

Hi Theresa, I am glad the home accommodated your family well! Thank you for the constructive feedback. We have never had similar complaints from other tenants but we take all feedback seriously and have looked into it. I did check the conservation path and it was cleared, I think you may have accidentally tried to access the neighbors path which is overgrown. There is a map in the welcome book in the home to make sure future tenants don't have the same issue! I have double checked the fridge temp and all is working well. Often when tenants move in and fill the fridge, it can take a day to normalize with the amount of food in it. As for the smell, the dehumidifier and all is working well. Cape Cod basements can be musty I do understand that!

This is an average property.

Very easy entry. We needed 3 bathrooms / my error was in thinking 2 were located on the second floor (4 bedrooms located there). However, one couple had to trek downstairs to their designated bath. Slate walkway was slippery and broken up. Furniture was tired/ house was filled with “stuff”. House was musty smelling. The kitchen was fully stocked — very easy to work in. We did love Chatham - a charming town.

Great find

What a great house. There were 10 of us and we had lots of room throughout the house. Air conditioning in each bedroom was a plus in the humid conditions. The house smelled like cleaning solution when we arrived. Loved the cleanliness of the place. This is 10 minutes from Ridgevale Beach and about 10 minutes to the center of town. Great location in a quiet street. Thank you.

Perfect vacation home for families

This home was perfect for us. Rooms were a great size. Beds were very comfortable. Home is very well taken care of. Had almost everything thing you need on vacation. Location was awesome. I can say anything negative about this home. Would highly recommend. I hope we can go again next year.

Couldn't Be Happier

The house was spacious enough for four families with 1 kid each, just as advertised. No one was tripping over each other. The bunk bed room for all the kids was ideal. The garage has some beach gear in good shape for use, like an umbrella, chairs and boogie boards for the kids to use @ Nauset and elsewhere. It's a 5 minute drive (even with summer traffic) to the Chatham Village Market and 2 more to Main St. restaurants and shopping. Everyone agreed that this place was just what the doctor ordered. We don't do the Cape every summer, but will look this rental house back up next time we do.

Spacious, comfortable home in great Chatham location! Perfect for families.

Absolutely loved this home and its location, walking distance to Main Street Chatham which is one of my favorite Cape Cod towns. Home has great layout, lots of privacy for multiple families if needed, large living room with plenty of seating for family gatherings. Also,three "full" bathrooms is rare to find -- plus enclosed outdoor shower. Each bedroom was spacious with ample closet and drawer space and window A/C. Great family home fully equipped -- family and kid games, books, and a garage full of beach chairs, a kayak, umbrellas, etc. Can't say enough about this fantastic rental. Also property manager is super attentive and receptive to any questions or concerns. We had none!
