Amazing place to stay

We absolutely love staying here. If we come back next year we will look to stay here again. Very accurate listing. Extremely clean, beautiful area, so much to do and and around the area. Communication was very easy and very fast. I would not hesitate to stay here again and cannot say enough good things about it.

A disappointing host interaction

What started out as a great weekend soon turned sour due to some unfortunate interactions with the hosts. Sadly our weekend to celebrate a milestone birthday and anniversary with friends left us truly disappointed.

Hi Paula, I'm sorry your stay wasn't as pleasant as expected. I have reviewed our communications and it seems your stay was excellent. The issue occurred after your stay when we inquired about significant damages to our kitchen cupboard door (melted) that occurred during the stay, which it seems none of your party had any idea about. We have never had that situation before. Its always difficult asking for damages after the fact and is not pleasant for either party, including us! Perhaps your party can be slightly relieved as you did not have to pay for the damages, we had to absorb that cost and effort. I do wish you all the best in the future!

Everything needed was there

This was absolute perfect home for us. My son was graduating University, it was nice and close! Everything we needed was in the home as a matter of fact, I lost a screw to my glasses and I was so stressed out because I’m blind as a bat. We finally found the screw after about an hour and, we were amazed to have found a tiny little screwdriver for glasses in the drawers! That absolutely saved the day as I was able to watch my son walk across the stage 💕 The host was excellent with communication. I will 100% stay there again if we ever have the opportunity to go back. 10 plus ⭐️

Enjoyed our stay, but touches could be better!

The house is in a great location. Its 30 minutes from downtown Victoria and only 10 minutes from Langford - which truly has everything you need without having to go into Victoria itself. The neighbourhood is very quiet and beautiful. The home is nice, with lovely features such as the large primary bedroom and ensuite bathroom, and the open concept kitchen/living room/dining room with access to the back yard. 3 bathrooms was also a big plus for a group of 5 ladies! The kitchen had everything you'd need to cook or enjoy the space as a family - with a lot of accessories if you were bringing young children as well (high chair, changing table, child safety outlets, etc). Everywhere was clean and looked to be in good working order. Our biggest pieces of feedback would be:• it feels very "spec home" - some more homey touches would be nice to feel more comfortable for a few days (throw blankets; plants; photos or artwork that feels more personal to Victoria; candles)• No curtains or blinds on any of the windows downstairs in the kitchen/living room/dining room. Even though these windows face the back yard, there is a street directly above and you feel very "on display"• The house gets very warm. There was only an AC wall unit in living room and main bedroom, so other rooms were very warm• using a key lock rather than a digital coded lock felt a bit uneasy for security• the TV in main bedroom needs to be updated, or use a Fire Stick. Chromecast would not work.

Great Stay

The property was beautiful and very well equipped especially with all the stuff you could ever need for an infant (and saved us the hassle of carrying a ton of stuff) - the only drawback would be that the air conditioners were not strong enough due to high ceilings causing the home to be a lot warmer even with all windows open and fans switched on. It was a great property nevertheless and the host was very communicative and helpful.

Nice place, had everything necessary

We stayed there with our 11 mo baby and had a lot of baby things available for us. The house is in a quiet area. We were there during a heat wave, so absence of AC in two bedroom was tough. Otherwise, we had a pleasant stay.
