Lakeside Cabin - Beaver Lake Resort - Pet friendly - legal short term rental

Beautiful renovated studio cottage at Beaver Lake Resort. Recently renovated with new kitchenette, new paint, new flooring, new decks and new landscaping. A clean and tidy studio cabin perfect for a peaceful getaway or fun with the kids. 1 queen bed and 1 double bed pull out sofa. Located just behind the log house it’s 100’ to the lakeshore. The resort has a playground, swim beach and swim dock. A Great Lake for exploring via kayak or paddle word. Electric engines allowed (no boats available for guest use). The woods provide a circular walk around the lake and are a beautiful gentle 1 hour hike full circuit. While our woods do have a resident bear and Elk a bear bell and woods safety make the walk peaceful and safe.

There is a fire pit on site for open wood fires when allowed by Provincial restrictions.

This is a family private ownership resort so following the 10km/hr speed limit within the resort and only parking in designated sites is strictly enforced. We expect our guests to treat other owners with courtesy and respect and follow all house rules and guidelines for everyone’s mutual benefit.

We are located 10 min from the town of Lake Cowichan where you can shop, eat, float the river or use the fee boat launch for the main Lake.

Great tranquil location, with a nice deck and picnic tables to enjoy sitting outside. Very close to the lake, and peaceful stay. Nice touch to have some games and DVDs while helping to get offline. Could do with a bit more cleaning, but also it's cabin style and understandable.

It was a great experience, right next to a nice swimmable lake. There was even a rock concert at the resort on Saturday, so we had lots of fun.

Nice little getaway cabin

My daughter and I had a great weekend getaway at this little cabin. Small but clean and comfortable. Quiet little lake resort in a great location for exploring the area. Communication with the host was excellent.

Great summer getaway

Me and my daughter stayed for 2 nights and loved every minute. We swam (many times a day), played at the park, kayaked and enjoyed several DVDs found at the laundry building. We will 100 percent be back.

Pretty cabin on the lake

Lovely property. Really liked all the different outdoor seating spots and the lake was nice to swim in. Screens for all the windows were broken so we had a crazy amount of bugs the first night. Other than that, great stay

Lakeside cabin

Great little cabin. Beautiful lake. Too cold this weekend to swim, but looks like it would be great. Wifi would be nice and some instructions in the cabin. Ie how long trail around lake is, wifi info. Coffe maker is difficult to use under the cabinet. Otherwise. Really nice.

Birthday Getaway

Nice orderly cabin amongst a tightly packed RV park. A two minute walk to swimming or canoeing in Beaver Lake as well as a wonderful trail surrounding. Check-In was made a bit difficult as we were given an outdated code for the entrance gate. It took over an hour for the host to respond and we were not given their phone number. Luckily, other tenants let us in; otherwise it would have been rather frustrating.

Lovely cabin in lake side property

The cabin is lovely and has everything one needs for a weekend get away. Park area beside the lake for walking dogs and taking in the view. The cabin has a cozy and stylish decor with lots of thoughtful additions. Host was very quick to answer any questions we had.
