This property was perfect for our girls trip! Peaceful, cozy, had beautiful water views, was clean and had everything we needed. It was close to Chincoteague Island! On our rainy day the pool was perfect. Everyone was friendly and the host was nice to work with. We hope to come back again in the future!

The property is in a great location. It is close to Chincoteague and other stores that it us a quick 20 or 30 minute drive but is in a quiet area so you can just relax and enjoy some peace and quiet

Went for a solo time out- beautiful property; clean and well cared for. Beautiful views from every window and loved waking up with the bay right outside my window. Host was easy to contact and very attentive and the home was cozy. I will be back.
Waking up to the day with bright sunshine.
Short drive over to Chincoteage (sp?) and saw theses beauties.

Great House

The home was great. Plenty of space and good kitchen. The location of the home was not easy to access other places and bay did not look swimmable, but other than that we loved our stay.

Great View!

The best part of this rental is the beautiful bay side view that can be enjoyed from the enclosed porch or the outdoor porch. The quiet and friendly neighborhood is a plus too!

Beautiful waterfront house

We had a very pleasant stay, check-in was smooth, the entire house is very well-kept and clean! Especially loved the covered sun room and the deck! Will come back again!

Relaxing

Peaceful, relaxing. Watched the water foul diving for their meal every morning. Enjoyed good seafood dinners. Friendly people.

Tranquility

Very beautiful setting, water view from all bedrooms. The Living room blinds open for an all water view. I enjoyed the nook off the living room, great for am coffee and a beautiful sunrise on the water.

Stunning view

Absolutely gorgeous house, gorgeous view. Had some issues with the alarm on septic pump(just alarm, no trouble with septic itself) they were very responsive & sent someone to fix it. Absolutely recommended!

Breathtaking view

We loved everything about it. The sunroom/ dining area was so relaxing. If there was a TV in there, i would never leave the room. I didn't bring a fishing rod this time around but will the next time. You can literally fish from the back yard. What!!! Thank you for having us.

Great getaway

We loved our getaway vacation in a nice neighborhood on the Chincoteague bay. It was absolutely amazing to be able to wake up and walk outside and put a line in the water and catch fish from the property. Thoroughly enjoyed watching the needlefish and jellyfish in the mornings. It was a pleasant backwoods drive to get to Chincoteague and Assateauge not too far but not too close either. The house was well equipped and the maintenance personnel are friendly and helpful when needed. We will be coming back in the future!

Nice enough, but could use some updates

The house was overall fine, though there were a number of things that could have been improved. The dock had some loose boards, as did the stairs, a door handle was loose and the dishwasher and washing machine were both not at full function. The furniture seating options, while serviceable, weren’t particularly comfortable for sitting. That said, the location was lovely and the sleep number bed in the main bedroom was a nice touch. The place was also spotlessly clean.

Needs Maintenance

Nice location. Downstairs bed was awful A waterbed frame which was hard to get in and out of, lumpy mattress. Bathroom sink very slow to drain. Upstairs bath, floor tile coming up. Insufficient lighting going down the back stairs. Took a hard fall because of lack of lighting. The house was FULL of gnats as soon as we got there I know its that time of the year, but they were already in the house when we arrived. Living room furniture is very uncomfortable. Sliding glass door to sunroom was VERY hard to open. Needs maintenance and interior paint. The waterfron location and outdoor area was nice. the lack of lighting

The location was amazing but the house was a bit rough. I got stabbed by a nail on the porch and the boardwalk had more rusty nails than we could count. I cut my foot on the swim ladder. We also expected to have access to the Captain’s Cove but we still needed to pay 15 per person per day to swim in the pool. The boat lift was not available for us to use. The rental company was very responsive.
