Had a wonderful time over thanksgiving weekend at this cottage. The surrounding area in Awenda is gorgeous and even more beautiful in the fall. Michael was great communicator and made sure we had whatever we needed in a timely manner.

Travelling with a 2 and 4 year old. We really enjoyed all the amenities, lots of bicycles for the kids and the adults, lots of games for all ages. The kitchen was well stocked - lots of dishes and utensils. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean. Our host was very prompt at responding to our questions. We thoroughly enjoyed the sandy beaches of Awenda park. Overall a good vacation.

Clean property, maybe a 2 minute walk from the water. All the amenities as advertised, and we really enjoyed the hot tub. Only 2 of us stayed there, but you could easily sleep 8-10 people if you wanted to. Would stay again

AMAZING VACATION, Highly recommend.All the cottages I have been to have tons of Mosquitos and this cottage has almost no Mosquitos.VERY Spacious cottage with big bedrooms and cathedral Ceiling, with 3 king beds2 Queen 1 single and 1 Pull out coach it allows up to 13 people to sleep over.The kitchen is very well equipped, and everything was in good working order.We really enjoyed all the amenities and well equipped …board games, Babington/volleyball net, canoe, bikes, spa. Ideal garden for relaxing and for the kids to play. Rocky beach across the street to go for a swim. Lots of sandy beaches are also easily accessible. Parking Passes for the Awenda park, a few minutes by car from the house, are available to enjoy it for free.

Michael’s house has plenty of room for all. The kitchen is very well equipped and everything was in good working order. We enjoyed hikes and beaching at Awenda Provincial Park. The parking passes for Awenda and Tiny Township were a really nice touch!

Thanks to the hosts, there are a lot of great things about the cottage, including a canoe, badminton racquets, fire pit, hot tub, excellent wi-fi and location near to the water. The beach a short walk away is great, but take Michael's advice to go to his favourite nearby sandy beach for privacy and a nice swim. The only negatives are around the need to tidy up the property and to keep closer tabs on foods left in the kitchen. Michael has taken our advice to heart and says he's cleaning it up. We had a fabulous time overall with few mosquitoes to deal with (a huge surprise), lots of things to do, and the beauty of nearby Awenda Park. The three girls in our group (two teens, one 8-year-old) will have great memories from the trip.

Beautiful property. Well stocked house. Super clean. Loads of wood. Quiet neighbourhood. The host is so friendly and nice. Stayed there with 5 adults, dog and cat. We all loved it. Sad to leave. So relaxing. Highly recommend.

Perfect for large families

We spent a few days during the winter. Michael was great at answering questions and trying to accommodate specific needs. Even provided a Christmas tree and a box of decorations! The house has lots of space for people to ‘spread out’, and we enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and campfire area.

We were a group of 5 adults and there was lots of room for all of us, both inside the house and outside.It was well equipped with all amenities that are needed for a short or long term stay.It is a very comfortable house with lots to do.When we had a question, Michael was very quick to respond with an answer.The only thing that could have been better was the weather, but I don't think the host has any control over that.We look forward to returning.

Well done

This property was in a good location and was well outfitted for our stay. It seemed that some previous renters may have been a bit hard on this property (missing screens, holes in others, a few stains on the carpets, wear and tear) but this didn’t impact our stay and overall the place was still well kept and a great time. The host was very generous and easy to get a hold of. I would book here again! One thing I would change would be the beds!

Little Slice of Heaven

Really lovely property with open concept inside and grassy garden with badminton set up outside. Beautiful stoney beach right across the road and then another stunning sandy beach a 10 minute cycle away (bikes provided). Mike was very quick to respond when I had questions. The views are like nothing I've ever experienced and will never forget. From sun shining beachy days to the moon shining down on top of us around the firepit , it was hard to not feel bliss. Thank you for having us.

Hi Rented this cottage as for a quick get a way at the end of summer. The location was great, and the cottage was everything we could have wanted. Michael was a great host, answered all of questions promptly, and would plan on staying there again!
