Our listing clearly identifies the property as a duplex and accurately describes it as being approximately a 3-minute walk to the nearest public beach access, which can be independently verified using Google Maps. The listing also includes numerous photos and detailed information so guests can understand what to expect before booking. We take great pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming cottage, and we appreciate that you acknowledged in your review that the cottage was clean. When you contacted us, you had already left the property. We responded immediately, discussed each concern you raised, offered reasonable solutions, and invited you to return and complete your stay. You advised us that you had already made alternative arrangements and would not be returning. During our discussions, you also advised us that you had intended to host a gathering at the property. We explained that our listing and house rules clearly state that parties and events are not permitted, so the property was not suitable for that intended use. Like many cottages in Tiny, ours is located in a beautiful natural setting where outdoor furniture is exposed to seasonal weathering and requires ongoing maintenance. We continuously invest in maintaining and improving the property for our guests, and we have since refreshed the patio furniture. We also offered to address this concern during your stay. The review also refers to beer cans on the driveway. We take cleanliness very seriously and respectfully disagree that this reflects the condition in which the property was prepared and presented for your arrival. The refrigerator shown in your photograph was only temporarily positioned because a new refrigerator had just been installed, as we explained at the time. That photograph does not reflect the cottage’s normal setup. We remain committed to providing every guest with a clean, comfortable cottage experience that is accurately represented in our listing.
