The Emerald Door | Hot Tub | Fire Pit

The Emerald Door is spacious 4 bedroom 2 bath home located less than one mile from Main Street, and the perfect place to call home while visiting Fredericksburg. The shaded backyard has a hot tub, grill, fire pit table, yard games and multiple seating areas. Indoors you will find a makeup station for additional space to get ready. The Emerald Door has lots of space and is also cozy with the large sectional sofa in the living room.

LOCATION – 8 blocks north of Main Street
HOSTS – Home to Yourselves
SLEEPS – Up to 12 people; two king bedrooms, one queen bedroom, a bedroom with two trundle beds (4 singles) & the living room has a full size sofa bed
BATH – 2 full baths; one en suite bath with a walk-in shower & double vanities. A second bath has a tub/shower combo.
KITCHEN – Fully equipped kitchen with Keurig & regular coffeemaker
BREAKFAST – No breakfast provided
AMENITIES – Flat Screen Smart TV with Apple TV, WiFi, outdoor area with a hot tub, yard games, firepit, charcoal grill (charcoal not provided), washer/dryer, extra vanity area for makeup station

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Emerald Door in Fredericksburg, Texas. The house was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, making it feel like a true home away from home. Everything was exactly as described, and the attention to detail really stood out. The location was perfect, allowing us to enjoy the charm of Fredericksburg while still having a quiet and relaxing place to unwind. Communication was smooth, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this home to anyone visiting the area.

Fredericksburg Trip

The house was lovely and very clean. We enjoyed the grill and fire pit outside. The TV room was very comfortable and the kitchen was stocked and spacious. The beds were very comfortable and the beautiful lit Christmas tree made it feel very homey. Would definitely stay here again!

Awesome Property

Great floor plan
 the perfect get away for a girls trip. It’s close enough to downtown for the tour groups to pick you up and drop you off. The decor was super cute and it was clean and well stocked. It’s bigger than the pics depict. Saving this spot for next trip to Fredericksburg.

Birthday Celebration

We enjoyed our stay celebrating my daughter’s 40th birthday with family and friends. We we on the wine tour and came back to relax and do more celebrate at the house. Enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Lots of talking went on within your walls! All I all we were very comfortable! Thank you so much.

Fun Experience

Loved the house. It was clean, spacious and back yard awesome. We enjoyed the hot tub! Only negative was lack of a third bathroom. Even a half bath would have been nice but we made it work. Thanks!

super clean updated and had everything we needed. The step down living room & other foundation drops were a little difficult- one suggestion: glow in dark duct tape instead of orange . Regardless we would rent this beautiful home again

Overall the property was laid out well for larger groups. The location was close to Main which was nice. Our only complaint was the cleanliness of the home. We were unimpressed with the cleaning services provided. As a paying customer we anticipated a much cleaner property

Great girls' getaway

Lovely house, perfect for mature people or family with kids. 9 ladies stayed in the home and thoroghly enjoyed the stay. Neighborhood is quiet and we felt safe. Home is decorated quite well. We had a hiccup getting into the home as the automatic lock was not working correctly. Staff was easily accessible when the issue arrived and on the phone immediately to fix. Would recommend home and would return. Thank you

This is a house that I rented to celebrate my birthday. There is a table for 8- not 2 table settings for thr 12 staying annd we only had 9. The 8 dining chairs are metal and very uncomfortable. 4 metal bar stools also not comfortable. We tried to play games and do crafts with one standing or one sitting at a bar stool. It was terrible.We had hoped to sit outside by the fire pit, but it was quite dirty out there so we weren’t able to. The hottub is old. The biggest problem was that the floors are very uneven as they are different levels. The house was dark at 3am when I had to walk a distance to get to the only shared bathroom- I fell 4 inches down out the bedroom door as there was no light strip outside the fourth bedroom. They are aware of this issue as there was tape, but you don’t see that when dark-you open the door to step down. My friend wanted to take me to the ER, because I couldn’t breathe well. I had to cut my trip short And of course my friends didn’t want to stay without me there as I was the hostess. This house sleeps too many advertised for only 2 bathrooms and this room should not be a bedroom! I pulled a muscle and jarred my back. They wouldn’t give me back one dime for having to cut our visit short. I hurt myself at their place and they didn’t care. There is no description of the different levels and they need a ramp!! You should never have to open a bedroom door so that you can fall out of it! I do not recommend staying at this place.

Annual Girls Trip

This house is so great!, the room, the layout, the backyard. This was our 3rd girls trip, and this house fit all of our needs. We will be back next year, cause we have now found the house to stay at.

I will be back it was a lovely home and very clean . But I was a little sad when the jacuzzi tub didn't work. Other than that it was a very lovely home and nice location and there was plenty of room for everyone .

Galentines Weekend!

This was our second stay at this property and We had a great time in Fredericksburg staying here again. With the amount of beds available, It’s perfect for a group of girlfriends. Great amenities too! We enjoyed the hot tub, utilized the Apple TV & games and really loved the large, round kitchen table; perfect for chit chatting with the whole group! The check in process was smooth and the check out policies were quick and easy. Highly recommend!
