This family-friendly 5 bedroom and 3.5 bath home is located on the shores of Lake Whatcom in the Sudden Vally community. The 3 levels feature a chef’s kitchen, decks on all levels, indoor/outdoor dining areas, 2 living rooms with TVs, a hot tub, and a large backyard with a patio, fire pit, and water toys (kayaks, paddleboard, inflatable zodiac, kids toys). The house is located next to a park with a swim platform. Play in the lake, mountain bike on Mt. Galbraith, go for a run, or relax in the serenity of mother nature.

The location allows access to Mt. Galbraith mountain biking (5 mins), Bellingham farmers market (15 mins), Mt. Baker wilderness (60 mins), and Vancouver (80 mins).

This house was perfect for a trip with friends. The lake was beautiful but the weather was rainy so we didn't get to use the "lake toys". Thinking about coming back in the summer.

Family Time in a Great Place with Beautiful Views!

The house was perfect for our family which now includes a 9-month old grandson and a granddaughter on the way. Comfortable beds, well-appointed kitchen, great outdoor spaces. Andy, the host, was very helpful and responsive.

Beautiful view and so peaceful

The property exceeded our expectations! Beautiful home, very clean, and had everything we needed. The views of the lake are stunning and we had visits from the deer almost daily. Wish the weather was warmer so we could enjoy some of the lake toys but hope to come back in the summer. Stunning location!

Perfect Family Weekend

We wanted to get our kids and grandkids together before the busy Christmas season and families get spread thin seeing all their loved ones. This property has plenty of room for our families and it was children friendly with plenty of books and toys to keep them all happy. It also has the best stocked kitchen we have had of all our rental properties. Being right on the lake made for beautiful scenery everyday. Would love to rent this out again in the summer to take advantage of the waterfront access. Property Manager was very good communicating with us and they had a helpful property notebook with good information. Will Definitely try and stay here again, Five Stars! Oh we made a cardboard gate for the stairway upstairs since we had some mobile toddlers.. would recommend that if you have small children in the house.

Great experience, great house

Everything was as advertised and Andy was a great communicator. Main floor bedrooms really helped with my dad, who is older and doesn't move well. Ideal for groups of 10 or so. Will stay again in the summer to take advantage of the lake!

Beautiful Lake house!

We have been coming to Bellingham for the last 8 years as our daughter is living here. We always stayed at the coast but we have found our new spot! Not only is the area beautiful but this lake home is beautiful. Well appointed kitchen for our Thanksgiving feast, comfortable beds, and everything you need for all seasons! We felt very much at home here and will miss waking up to the beautiful views! Enjoyed the kayaks, jacuzzi and beauty. Andy was a super host and easy to communicate with. Check in was easy as was check out. No complaints here. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Lake house!

We couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay in this gorgeous lake house! We and our adult children and infant grandson gathered here for a birthday celebration. The views were stunning from most rooms in the house. The house is well-appointed complete with a well-equipped kitchen and an ample eating space that easily accommodated our family of 9. The property owner was very responsive and helpful in addressing a couple of minor fireplaces glitches. This is a property we would definitely like to return to again in and out of season!
