Willuna Sanctuary Farm Stay

Welcome to Willuna Sanctuary.. Here is your chance to experience a unique farm stay within our 62 acre park like animal sanctuary.. Wake up to our free roaming Peacocks saying good morning.. Take a farm tour and get up close and personal meeting or feeding kangaroos, camels, emus, Canadian elk, water buffalo, ostrich and many more rescued animals. So much to explore and do incl. enjoying sunrises on the famous Mount Pilot summit, cool off in the Pool or enjoy an indoor fire and toasted Marshmallows inside the farm barn in cooler months. Your accommodation will be in one of our two miners themed two bedroom fully self contained cabins, private and out of sight of main farm house.

Amazing place to stay!

What a brilliant experience - family getaway, gorgeous clean cabins, beds super comfy. Host welcoming and SO generous with their time showing us round the farm and letting us help with the feed run.

Cozy and enjoyable.

The cabin was cozy and the option to have a walk between all the interesting animals was nice. The animals look happy and cared for.

Awesome stay

Theresa and Matt are lovely hosts with a beautiful property. You can tell that the animals at the sanctuary are so loved and well cared for. We will be back again for sure!

Lovely farm stay

Lovely cosy cabin with farm ambience and close to lovely bushland of Mt Pilot. Host was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

A tranquil stop

We stopped for one night on route from Canberra to Melbourne. It was a perfect stop and great respite for our 3 year old daughter. The animals are amazing and the hosts were very friendly! Just make sure you bring lots of warm clothes if visiting in winter.

A delightful experience

As a family of 5 plus fur baby we absolutely loved this delightful property with all the rescued animals living their best life. Highly recommend.

This was the perfect getaway for a couple of days. Our 3 and 4 year old absolutely loved helping Theresa to feed all of the animals. Theresa is very kind and patient with kids and was incredibly warm. We loved hearing all of the farm sounds as we woke each morning. Incredibly peaceful and relaxing place to stay! Highly recommend!

What a delightful stay. Thank you so much Willuna. My 10yo and 12yo who are animal lovers loved roaming around the sanctuary saying hi to all the rescue animals. They were all so friendly and happy to approach us to say hi. Thank you to the host Theresa for getting in contact with me during our stay to ask if I needed extra blankets since it was due to be a cold night. Really nice service. Excellent clean cabin and had lots of things already stocked up in the cupboards. Also love that 100% accomodation proceeds go towards helping care for the animals. We can’t wait to return:

A Wonderful Farm Stay

We needed a country break away from the busyness of life. Willuna delivered! My kids require internet and a pool, I wanted them to have a different holiday, we all were happy! Theresa was the perfect host, explaining things on repeat to my ADHD, ASD kids. The animals were beautiful, Tommy was a gentleman, Raymond was a delight and Nala was so sweet. Each of my boys had their favourite animal and the fireplace in the shed made great S’mores on our last night. Wiluna Sanctuary is inspiring and worth a couple of nights stay.

Taste of a simple life

Really enjoyed our stay! It was everything we were looking for. Very relaxing and away from the hustle and bustle. Our 4 year old and puppy had a fantastic time and know that the experience will be etched into their memories for years to come. The hosts were absolutely beautiful people and we really admire their lifestyle and the accommodation they have gone with. Highly recommend for anyone looking for that taste of country life and a disconnect from city life. Thank you for having us and look forward to seeing you again :)
