The property was magnificent with so many features and was a wonderful stay. Very clean - pool was a great temp and heated well and with a great view.

Beautiful property

Well presented, the floor to ceiling curtained windows give it an opulent feeling. Well appointed with quality fittings, appliances and furniture. Fantastic view of the hills from the pool. House is exactly as shown in photos. It feels like the middle of nowhere but you still have plenty of restaurants nearby, right in the middle of local wineries and produce, the general store is 10 minutes away.

Peaceful Location

The property was lovely, we enjoyed our stay. I could only give 4 stays for cleanliness (which is still generous) because of the thick coating of dust on all ceiling fans, fridge and exhaust fans. As mentioned to host, it was not great when paying $700 a night and remotes hadn’t been checked on fans in main living area. Host was great and attempted to fix for us. A great holiday for a family of four perhaps no more as only one bathroom and toilet is located in main bathroom. Bedrooms good for younger children. Overall loved the location, scenery and tranquility. Thanks

Hi Nikki. I’m glad you found the location to be peaceful and enjoyed your stay. As mentioned to you during your stay, there was absolutely no issue with the fan remote controls. All you needed to do was switch the wall switch nearest to the corresponding fan before you point the remote control at it. I had offered to come over to investigate the problem but you declined and I always respect guests privacy. I tested the remotes myself upon your departure and all was in working order. This is the first time anyone had brought this issue to our attention but upon your feedback we have made instructions clearer for future guests. I apologise if you thought dusting was not up to standard. I have brought this to the attention of the cleaner who has since brought over a full height ladder to clean the high ceiling fans you are referring to. This will be made clear as a requirement for any future cleaners and again, I apologise as we pride ourselves in high standards of cleaning. As for exhausts, these were inspected by myself and the cleaner and found not to be an issue upon your departure. Thanks for the feedback and all the best.
