Beach House with Parents Retreat

Peace and relaxation while on vacation, this Rye back beach house is located on a "No through Road" and only minutes from Rye back beach, Rye shops, 16th Beach Cafe and only 3 km to the Peninsula Hot Springs, Golf Clubs and so much more. Your rental includes all bedroom linen, bathroom towels and beach towels.

This quaint original beach house sits on 905 square mtr. site surrounded by natural moonah trees in a natural garden setting. The first thing you will notice on arrival is the peace and quiet, sit and listen to the ocean, while you can't see it you can hear it, especially in the early hours of the evening.

Please pay attention to the floor plan as one end of this home (parents retreat end) the master bedroom has it's own living room with the 4th bedroom (2 x singles for smaller family members to sleep) this bedroom is open to the Master bedroom. The parents retreat area has ensuite, walk-in robe and study nook, it also has its own separate entrance from the front verandah.

The lounge has a woodfired heater (also reverse cycle heating and cooling).
The dining area has an extended table enough to seat 8. The kitchen has a 4 burner gas cooktop and electric oven, dishwasher and large microwave. A coffee pod machine and is fitted out to cook a nice meal if required.
The kitchen has a nice spread of cookbooks, however if cooking isn't your thing then venture out for some great meals at many great eateries in Rye, Blairgowrie, Sorrento and Portsea, very spoilt for choice.

The Deck area is large with outdoor dining setting, BBQ, perfect for entertaining.

The location is perfect and tucked away in bushland near to St Andrew’s Beach. We loved the house and enjoyed walking and exploring the rock pools of the surf beaches. The hosts were very communicative and helpful and we would definitely go back

Fantastic girls weekend away

Had a wonderful couple of nights at Marie’s place. Well equipped kitchen, super comfy and cozy beds, lovely hot showers, and great location made for a super fun relaxing weekend. Treatments at Hot Springs and Aurora at the Conti( superb!!!). Highly recommend.

Great location and entertainer

Fantastic property in the prefect part of Rye with easy access to the back beach. The property itself was styled lovely and the parents retreat is a real treat to have. Plenty of space for everyone. The outdoor area was great for entertaining and relaxing whilst having a bbq. It is also at the end of a dead end street so very private which was a big plus. A great place to stay and very good value for money

Perfect family spot

Staying here was perfect for us as 2 families with 4 kids. The kids had the parents retreat, lots of space for everyone, lovely styling and well equipped kitchen. Bar fridge, and beach towels! Loved it, would definitely come back and Marie the host was lovely to deal with. Thank you !!

Hi Jason, Not sure what you mean about a smell in the kitchen? I inspected the house only 4 hours prior to your arrival and left the bottle of wine. The kitchen is modern and only a few years old, I also take photos of all the areas and including bin areas etc.. The house was perfect and the floors had also been disinfected, it smelt very clean. I inspect the property prior to every guest arriving. I also communicated with you several times over the 2 days stay and you did not mention once a smell in the kitchen. I am gathering that based on HTW reviews that your not good at giving them out. Cheers. PS. Just a note, next time you book with Stayz make sure you tell them the truth about your booking. You booked for 2 people only. Four cars parked at the home for most of the weekend as reported by security company who monitor the external areas. At least 6 people stayed, your lucky that we had the home set up for the additional guests, but never a good idea to lie about numbers.

Great for 2 families with young children

Great little gem for 2 families with 3 young children between us. House sectioned off for privacy and exactly what we needed. Close to most attractions that we wanted to see and do ie. Hot springs, Arthur seat eagle gondola ride- seawinds gardens playspace for picnic & playground and a lovely walk where you will see ducks, kangaroos and other wildlife, dragon's head lookout for some great family photos at sunset. The house had great cooking and washing facilities. Marie is such a lovely host - was give early check in and late check out. Also, was given a complimentary wine on arrival! Thank you

Every thing was perfect accept the kitchen equipments,little be too pure( no good knives for cutting.....)And room cabinets closed for visitors .light over the cook top not working (very dark when you prepare the meal on et) But rest excellent

Thanks for your review Mariola, The light over the cook top has now been replaced (the globe was blown). Only two cupboards are locked one in the laundry and one in the walkin robe, as they contain cleaning supplies for when cleaners come in to change bedding, towels etc. A locked cupboard is standard practise in rental beach homes. All the kitchen equipment is brand new, including cutlery and knives. Thanks again for staying with us.
