You will feel right at home at Wattleseed and its quaint 1950's design with high ceilings and timber floorboards adding to that beautiful cottage feel. Superbly located in the heart of Evans Head, it is a 500m walk to the Main Beach, 400m to the Evans River, cafes, and the Illawong Hotel. Not to mention it is also located adjacent to the Bowling Club, grab a beer and enjoy some bare foot bowls with the family.

What we love:
- 3 Bedrooms, comfortably sleeps up to 4 adults and 2 children great place to bring the family (additional fold out sofa in living room available upon request to accommodate up to 4 adults + 4 children)

Lovely stay at Wattleseed Beach House

We stayed here for 3 nights in late January. It was a very hot weekend but the air conditioning inside and lovely deck outside made it feel fine. The house was very clean and everything you need is provided. The mattresses and linen were comfortable and new. The garden was great for dogs. It is unusual to find such a great stay! Highly recommended!

Wattleseed gets a big tick

We stayed at the property for a weekend in the off peak season. Other than beachfront- you could not get a better located property. Short walk to anything and everything Evans Head has to offer. Thankyou again!!!

Great little house so close to all you need easy walking to shops and parks lots of nice walking paths ,which was great for our little dog ,short 5 minute drive to dog off leash beach ,so thankful we could take our fur baby he loved it ,nice little extras in house & bathroom Thankyou ,will be back

Lovely house great position

Well positioned. A walk to main street shops, bowls club and surf club. The only thing, pets allowed property, shows a dog inside the house in the photos, but were told after paying final payment, no dogs allowed inside. Maybe make that clear at point of booking.

Family wedding stay at Wattleseed Evans head.

Lovely house. Well presented and a nice range of products for us to use. Great location. We did have awful weather tho could have used a dryer for the towels.

Great Location, Trendy and Airy, Perfect for our stay in Evans Head

Thank you once again for allowing us to stay in your cosy little piece of paradise. We had everything we needed in the best location. All the needs catered for. Robes and Disney+/Netflix were such great additions, as well as the delicious welcome pack (yum yum). We appreciated the great communication ensuring we had all needs met. We would completely recommend a stay at this beautiful home.

Great place for relaxing

We found this house to be really comfortable and very relaxing as soon as we walked through the door. It is such a short walk to everything as well, you could have a week without needing the car. For those wondering about the higher rate; the house was very chill, well appointed with all you need, less stress not having to take the car anywhere and the opportunity to have our dog with us made it well worth it!

Wonderful location and house!

We loved the house. It's nice and light and airy and has everything you need with really decent appliances and kitchenware. Location was great too; we could walk to the main street, the IGA, and to the river carrying our big stand up paddle boards. The river was great for our young kids who aren't very confident in the ocean. The yard was perfect for our dog (it's a Colorbond fence so he couldn't get excited by passing dogs and we felt comfortable leaving him) and the dog beach was a short 5 minute drive. We ate well too; the seafood at the marina was excellent. Overall, we had a wonderful week and our hosts were lovely with some very thoughtful touches. Thank you!

My family rented three other places in evans for seven nights from first national am I payed double there money for five nights next time I will deferentially be going first national

Thank you for your review! Our property includes bed linen, bath towels and beach towels. Has air conditioning, complimentary wifi & Netflix and is also pet friendly! So yes, it may be more expensive than other properties that do not provide these services. It is also in a fantastic location which is why I suspect you had the rest of your family over at our property for a party which is a clear breach of the rules. You left the house messy and with damaged items which is the real reason you had a problem with management.
