Guests have exclusive access to this fully self-contained room through the front door of the house.
The kitchenette is equipped with sink, toaster, jug, microwave, fridge, Nespresso machine and a small bench-top oven and grill.
On arrival there will be a few small breakfast items provided (ie. cereal, milk, juice, bread, spreads and fruit). Please note that these items are only provided at the beginning of your stay.
Located in Welcome Bay, this is a great spot to base yourself to access the many attractions Tauranga has to offer.
The house is on a street with other stand-alone homes. It overlooks a reserve area and you can access a walking track in the reserve directly across the road.
A 15 minute walk from the house is the local shops which includes petrol station, grocery store, chemist, laundromat and a few takeaway food options.
The nearest bus stop is located about a 10 minute walk from the house on Waikite Road.
Within five minutes drive is Johnsons Reserve which is a great place to take a walk on the tracks and also a five minute drive away is Tye Park, which is a lovely big park, with trees for shade, beside the estuary. A ten minute drive away is Kaiate Falls which offers a short walk to an impressive Waterfall.
Tauranga CBD is 10-15mins drive away, here you might like to visit The Strand which provides many wonderful dining options and beautiful views of the Harbour.
Papamoa Beach is just a 10 minute drive away and it will take 20 minutes to drive to the iconic Mount Maunganui. The Mount offers more than just an incredible beach and surfing, head to the Mount for amazing dining at world-class restaurants and cafe's. You can't visit Tauranga without walking to the top of the Mount and enjoying one of the best views in New Zealand!
