Clean property in neighborhood of close homes on cul de sacs. One bedroom down, one up. Bath with each. Well stocked for cooking, and Pacific City has a small downtown with a reasonable selection of places to eat out (The Meridian - upscale hotel, Pelican Brewing for a good burger, and More). The home is behind a Large dune, but a pretty reasonable walkway nearby gets you to the top to watch the sunset and the kitesurfers, and gives access to a beautiful beach to run your dog, take a walk near the water, etcWe would come back. Really love Pacific City.

Amazing property! Peaceful setting in an adorable neighborhood. Easy access to the beach right in front of the rock, with miles of quiet beach. The architecture and decor are charming. Well equipped and clean. Will be back for sure!!

Pacific city is an amazing town and this home is in the heart of it all. Walking distance to pelican and the other retail locations. Walking stance e to the beach and the home was the perfect centralized location to it all.

I wouldn’t stay in another Meredith lodging. Needs lots of maintenance. Fireplace worked on and off. Sent a guide as how to fix it but it obviously needed a plumber to fix the gas line. The batteries in the remotes were low. The dryer needs to have the output blower cleared of lint. Fire waiting to happen

Thank you for staying with us and for the review. I’m sorry to hear you had some concerns during your stay. It's good to know you had difficulty with the fireplace, I'm sorry about that. It was recently serviced by a certified gas fireplace technician so it should be working very well. We'll have our maintenance team run some diagnostics and call the vendor back out if need be. The batteries in the remotes were replaced and we will inspect the dryer exhaust line to ensure it's cleared. The property was nice, clean, and well-stocked, for the most part. The bathroom towels were bare minimum and no washcloths in the downstairs bathroom. We could not find laundry detergent to start the load of towels as requested for the check-out procedures but the kitchen was very well-stocked with a variety of kitchen gear, even for small children. The double-sided fireplace is nice and does put out a little bit of heat. There is no CD player so we brought our own boombox to play music CDs. The trash rollcart is located in a shared wooden corral next to the driveway.The location and proximity to the beach was nice with the wooden ramp up to the sand dune but the going up and down the sand dune to the actual beach was very challenging. Coming up the dune in loose sand was probably equivalent to climbing eight flights of stairs. I don't have mobility issues and I had to rest a few times coming up. There is an easier beach entrance a bit north at Shore Drive and Alder Street, where surfers tend to access the beach. We were able to walk to it but there are also a few parking spots there.There are paved trails throughout Shorepine Village and it would have been nice to have a map of the community.The management team was responsive but we had to communicate via text. They said I could ask about early check-in or late check-out within 24 hours of the usual times. No one had reserved the rental the night before or after us so they approved an extra hour with no additional fee.

Fun birthday weekend at the coast

We really enjoyed our stay at this great little beach house. Very clean, and well stocked and the gas fireplace was a nice treat during the typical Oregon spring weather.
