I would highly recommend this cabin! There are tons of games, movies and views if you want to stay in, and it’s close to so many things to do if you want to venture out.

Wonderful stay at Lazy Bear Lodge

The cabin was perfect for us. The views were great especially at night when you can see plenty of stars. We even had some deer come up and visit us on most days. The lodge had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. It was within driving distance to lots of small towns and activities that we enjoyed. Will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family.

We utilized 3 of the 4 bedrooms and made good use of the kitchen (mainly breakfast). We spent a lot of time on the decks and the Great Room talking and enjoying each other's company. The location was perfect for easy access to all that the Colorado Springs area has to offer. Would stay there again as it was perfect!

Colorado 2025

We stayed at the Lazy Bear Lodge for our trip to Colorado. The cabin was super clean, great wifi and the area was very peaceful. I would highly recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful family trip at Lazy Bear Lodge! The house offered beautiful views, plenty of space, and was spotless upon arrival. Its location made it easy to enjoy nearby outdoor activities, and the communication and instructions from the hosts were clear and helpful. We would definitely recommend staying here and hope to return!

We have the most wonderful stay at Lazy Bear Lodge. It really has everything you need. I am always concerned about cleanliness and it was very clean. There was plenty of room for everyone and my kids loved the little bear cave. It’s very private and quiet. I highly recommend The Lazy Bear Lodge to anyone looking to stay in this area.

Wonderful in summer and in winter

We had such a great time at the Lazy Bear back in August, it was a no-brainer to stay here for our winter trip. The house is so comfortable and you just can't beat the views. Thank you for sharing this house with us!

Wonderful House

Our family had a wonderful time in our brief, 2-night stay at your house. The views are gorgeous and it was wonderful to enjoy some peace and quiet away from the hustle of the day-to-day pace. Great communication with the owners. We look forward to visiting again soon!

Perfect mountain getaway

Great house just close enough to things to do yet far enough to be secluded. At the house you can't see anyone else with great mountain views and awesome decks. Plenty of large new TVs and modern touches, super soft comfortable beds, and tons of games for the family.

Beautiful get-away

The location was spot on - central to all the surrounding hiking trips we went on. The cabin is very large with lots of space. The games that are available provides extra fun. We thoroughly enjoyed the easy to use fireplace!

A slice of heaven!

We love the outdoors and this was the perfect place to get away from our busy lives. We hope to make this a yearly group trip to escape the summer heat, fish, explore, and soak up the peaceful sunrises. Lazy Bear Lodge was exactly what our souls needed! Book it..you won't be disappointed!!

Log Cabin

The log cabin was beautiful and unfortunately, we had a family emergency and had to leave after just one night. Wish we could have stayed and enjoyed it. Hoping we can make it back some day! Was very clean.

Awesome get away!

We wanted to visit a lot of tourist locations and we had 3 older couples.Lazy Bear fit the bill. It was centrally located. The only complaint is the gravel roads leading to the lodge. Our 12 passenger rental van had a tough time of it.

A Peaceful Family Escape at Lazy Bear Cabin in Florissant Co.

My husband and I traveled from South Carolina to visit our son and his family, stationed in Colorado Springs, and we booked Lazy Bear Cabin for a little family getaway. Lazy Bear Cabin had everything we needed, a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. The location was perfect and convenient for outdoor activities—we had an amazing time fly fishing at 11 Mile canyon and exploring the beautiful scenery and waterfalls at Paradise Cove, A perfect hike for almost any one! The cabin host was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making sure our stay was comfortable. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and we highly recommend Lazy Bear Cabin!

Our family absolutely loved this property. It has a very unique floor plan, that was a lot of fun for our kids. The view was unbelievable. The hole experience along with this property has made us consider moving to Colorado. This is a true gem. It won’t disappoint.
