Amazing Trip

We stayed here for 4 days and it is absolutely wonderful. The property is close to a beach and many vineyards and farmers markets. The house is clean and comfortable— and the owner is exceptional at communicating and helping out. 100% recommend!!!

This home is beautiful, very clean and accessible to everything. The lawn was immaculately manicured with a lovely screened in porched(pictures do not capture this home's true beauty) I highly recommend and hope to make this an annual trip for me and my family.

This home was lovely and the customer we received was by far the best I have experienced when renting a property on Vrbo! The house was clean, spacious, and the screened in morning room was breathtaking!! My family can’t wait to return 😊

We all agreed this was an excellent choice for an extended wedding weekend. our first night we had an excellent meal at a local pizzeria then we went to a winery the following day. The wedding venue was very close. Absolutely perfect I highly recommend

Enjoyable Stay

Overall, the house was as listed and met our needs. It is comfortable, spacious, and well located. We particularly enjoyed how clean it was. Our only note to renters is that the kitchen/cookware is very limited. (We had to purchase sponges, dishwasher detergent, and there is very little cookware for a large group.) Overall, would recommend.

The house was the perfect location and all of us said the beds were so comfy to sleep in. The only problem was the kitchen was really sparse on the kitchen items. No food containers, plastic bags, paper towels, etc. They listed having paper towels and toiletries in the description so we were expecting to have to rush out and buy these things. But this didn't take away from the great experience we had in the house and we all said we'd stay there again.

Spacious and Welcoming North Fork Home

My lifelong (45+ years) friends, sister and I stayed in this well-appointed home for our annual Girls' Weekend. The house comfortably accommodated the seven of us. It was tastefully decorated, had a pleasant back deck area, and a very cute front porch. We took a lovely stroll to the beautiful local beach and were also able to walk to several restaurants, as well as Sherwood House Winery. Short Uber rides brought us to Jamesport Brewery and Il Giardino Restaurant -- where we had a lovely meal. Our host was friendly and most responsive to our needs. I would definitely recommend staying here -- and may even do so again if our group wants to venture to the North Fork again in the future.

Would have been better if it was cleaner

The outside & interior layout of this home was very nice, but...it was not clean! The coffee machine was dirty, #1: spider webs in every corner of the house, including the ceilings, lamps (glass fixtures over the dining room table had dead bugs inside them), ceiling fans, & the corner of each step going upstairs. #2: towels had stains on them #3: duvet cover in the master had stains on it #4: I don't know if tissues are supplied but we had none #5: each bathroom had one roll of toilet paper & one 3/4 used roll under sink. Nothing extra #6: the cleaning service did not leave us extra kitchen garbage bags. We asked our point of contact if we needed to supply them but she told us where we could find them (inside the owners locked closet upstairs) #7: the large garage garbage cans were full! #8: the grill had a mouse family living in it, so we could not use them, & we didn't even have BBQ utensils to use anyway) #8: no oven mits #9: mattresses & pillows are very old! #10: the upstairs air conditioner has black mold in the vents #11: no "welcome" book giving us instructions on how to use the TV or other important things

Hi Ellen, we want our guests to arrive at a vacation home that is 100% ready for their stay, so we take the cleanliness of our properties seriously! The homeowners were surprised to read your review, as they are accustomed to providing 5-star experiences, and would like to clarify the following:- We were surprised by your comments about cleanliness, as our cleaning team didn't note any significant issues after your departure. However, we understand that spiders and insects can be a challenge in this area during certain times of the year, and we'll be more vigilant in addressing this- We apologize for the oversight with the extra garbage bags. While the kitchen pail was lined, we should have left additional bags and will ensure this doesn't happen again- We’re sorry to hear about the issues with the grill. We have removed the mouse and will continue to monitor this closely to prevent it from happening again- The upstairs A/C unit did have some dust buildup, which has since been addressed. We can confirm that there was no mold, but we'll continue to keep an eye on this- We pride ourselves on the quality of our mattresses and pillows, though we understand comfort is subjectiveThank you again for providing such detailed feedback. We've addressed your comments with the relevant teams so that future guests will receive the exceptional service we strive to provide. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again soon!
