Our family loved this very private home and pool with close access to everything! The owner was so friendly and helpful, the home was full of kitchen tools, fresh blankets and towels, pool and beach accessories like chairs, paddle boards and floaties, and the style of the home was classic beachy adorable! Thank you for a lovely family vacation!

Definitely a must-stay!

The overall property was exactly what was expected from the listing! Incredibly clean and just a beautiful property. The owners were very easy to communicate with and willing to help with whatever they could.The property was in the perfect location with easy access to both Atlantic Beach and Emerald Isle.Our family had such a relaxing vacation and would 100% re-book this house for future vacations in this area.

Long Weekend Get Away

Haven’t stayed at Atlantic Beach in several years but we decided to try it instead of Myrtle Beach and I’m so glad we did. We enjoyed the house, bike rides, the pool and the beach. Very relaxing and quiet.

Perfect Vacation House for Family

The house was a perfect fit for our family of 7. The pool was so nice. Everything was clean, and the kitchen was stocked with everything you would need to cook. The owner is very helpful and kind...she thought ahead and provided extra items to make our stay even better. I would highly recommend. The location is also very private, in a nice neighborhood, and close to all you need.

Lovely!

We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness & layout of the house. The pool was perfect. The walkable beach access is a little more treacherous than expected - definitely not navigable with a wagon… but parking access is available nearby for $4/hour. The town is quaint & the beach was never too crowded. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would love to come back.

Vacation house in Pine Knoll Shores, N.C.

It was great. It was the perfect place for our family get together. The kids really enjoyed the pool. They spent a lot of time in the water. The kitchen was a perfect set up for cooking and plenty of table room for all of us. Location was perfect with plenty of activities like the aquarium a few blocks away. A beautiful ocean beach was just moments away. We will definitely go again if the opportunity comes up.

Owners were in touch to make sure everything was going ok and to reach out if we needed anything, she was also very polite and accommodating. Beach is in walking distance, the only issue we encountered was the public beach access was rough and we were not able to bring the beach cart, but that was no fault of the house itself. We definitely plan to return next year!!

Family vacation

The home itself was very clean with a beach vibe, Outdoor patio with pool was very nice. Communication with owner was easy before stay, only bad I can say is we were accused of breaking items that were broke before hand and accused of not monitoring our children in pool, during our stay in early June it was still very chilly even a text from owner stating weather was not cooperating and pool was cold on top of the weather barely breaking 70. Pool was used one day for a few hours only. I cleaned home as much as possible before leaving, and also washed the towels we used for the staff. We also were asked to bring trash can up from road for staff and did so without question. There was no propane in grill and we had to purchase our own trash bags and toilet paper due to it being locked up and only have a couple in a closet for the week. After being accused we were told we were not welcomed back because of the broken net that was left before us. Ruined a very nice week with family from rudeness a couple hours after our stay. Overall the home was nice but apparently you pay for your own and are accused of things and home isn’t cheap for to experience the rudeness again.

Hi Jessica, we're sorry to hear that your stay didn't meet your expectations, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. We reached out to the homeowner to gather some insights, and they wanted to share the following details: - Concerning the pool filter and thermometer, it's important to clarify that we inspected the property before your arrival, and nothing was broken. It appears you placed the pool filter in the pool equipment room, which has a sign stating no entry by guests, in an attempt to conceal that it was broken. As for the thermometer, it may appear like a toy kids may like, and unfortunately, it was taken off of its string and lay broken on the concrete. - Regarding the grill, rest assured that the propane tank was full, but you did not open the valve to it. We also have a spare tank on-site for our guests to use. A quick message to us, and we would have been more than happy to assist. - We always aim to provide ample supplies for our guests, including several rolls of toilet paper in each of the three bathrooms and a full box of trash bags conveniently located behind the roll-out trash can. We regret any inconvenience you experienced, and please remember that we're just a call or text away if there's ever anything you can't find or need during your stay. Thank you for your review and the opportunity to host you.
