What We Love
Sleek and ultra-modern, this elegant apartment makes the most of its second-floor perch. The open-plan entertaining space is positioned to accentuate the large windows, throwing natural light across the white gloss kitchen. Clever use of bespoke carpentry creates practical style throughout this home, and the pine and white finish delivers a nordic charm which is reflected in the scandi-style interior design. Visions of a leisurely morning spent with a fragrant coffee and fresh cardamom bun at the breakfast bar are not out of place here.
The main bedroom is spacious and calming, and the family bathroom is contemporary, boasting a walk-in shower. Connecting from the main lounge room, there is a smaller bedroom which can be enjoyed as a casual office or converts into a second bedroom via a sofa bed.
This polished retreat boasts an unbeatable cosmopolitan location in the heart of this elegant and fashionable bayside neighbourhood, and is located within the grounds of the main house but offers your own private oasis.
This hideaway is an ideal escape for exploring the city. A short drive from the CBD, youre in a more related bayside location, best known for great eateries, gorgeous sunsets and days spent at the Murray Rose Pool, known to locals as 'Red Leaf', a wonderful harbourside tidal pool where you can dive from the wraparound deck and sunbathe on the floating pontoon. The serenity of the stunning water is mixed with the best of city living. Gorgeous boutiques abound, and a new gastronomy scene has put Double Bay on the map.

6 minutes from your front door is one of the unmissable Double Bay spots thats making waves on the gastronomic scene; a 100-year-old pub that has elevated their menu (think wagyu burgers and steak) and offers a relaxed and romantic beer garden with delicious cocktails.
Double Bay has a well-heeled reputation, and this is best-experienced dipping in and out of the designer shopping streets. Transvaal Avenue, Knox, Cross and Bay Streets have an enviable selection of fashion and homewares, as well as being great for people watching.
Enjoy the harbour views, or take a stroll through Blackburn Gardens, a French-esque seaside location with the calm waters of Sydney Harbour lapping against its narrow stretch of sand. Perched along the parks edge is popular brunch spot, Redleaf Pool Caf which has incredible views of the harbour.

A wonderful property
The Hideaway was certainly just that, a beautiful apartment set back from the street, it was very comfortable and quiet whilst being conveniently located to the main district of Double Bay. A great place to relax and enjoy the area. It was well equipped with everything you need. I highly recommend.

Property was comfortable and had well appointed kitchen and other amenities. One main bedroom with onsuite and office with an extra bed and laundry facility. Accomodation was up a flight of stairs. There was no onsite parking, only street parking but we didn't have a car anyway. Short walk to some local shops and restaurants and a bit further to more shops and railway station. We did have an issue with the wifi, which took a couple of days to get sorted.
