1970's Renovated, self contained comfortable 2 bedroom bach

Totara Bach Wanaka, is a comfortable, self contained 2 bedroom bach (linen & towels supplied), beside a large park (Kellys Reserve). 1.5km to town centre & 800m to the lake. BBQ, dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine/ drier combination, TV, wifi, microwave, oven & cooktop, toaster, electric jug, heater & logburner. (We provide firewood). Separate toilet, outdoor seating & off street parking. Sorry, no pets.
The bach will be serviced weekly for stays of more than one week.
We live next door & are more than happy to help with any local recommendations

We loved our stay! Amanda was so friendly and welcoming and her home is incredibly cozy as well as spotless. Very quiet area and an easy walk down to the lake, shops and restaurants.

We were absolutely charmed by this inviting space, which surely makes an excellent base for a larger party than our smaller group of two. The kitchen is marvelously stocked with everything you need to make meals, and is not far from area groceries. The views are stunning, the home itself warm and comfortable, the location peaceful (do check out the nearby picnic area w. mountain views), and the hospitality from our hosts was a true stand out among it all. Thank you again for a delightful stay - will definitely repeat next time in Wanaka.

The house was super comfortable, fairly private for being on owners property, lovely plush carpet, warm and tidy. Sharp knives in the kitchen were a real stand out! Angela and Dave were great hosts, available but not invasive, really good recommendations and supplies for kids/families. Thank you!

I love this place! It felt like home and being able to meet up with my daughter and son-in-law, spend time here watching movies and favorite shows was wonderful. It's a good location, nice neighborhood, and having the owners next door was a plus.

Angela was a great host. We enjoyed our stay very much, lovely and clean cottage. Perfect location for us being up for a football tournament, we were allowed to access the playing grounds through the gate in the garden, very accessible. Close to the lake and township too. Definitely recommend this place and will come again.
