Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. We love our swim spa experience not to mention the sauna. Drinks and dinner at the dinning table with family and friends are memories for life.

We absolutely love the view from the living room or kitchen watching outside with bit of lake view from the cottage.

Charming cottage with everything you need! Cozy fireplace, relaxing hot tub, and just a short walk to breathtaking sunrises & sunsets over the water. The host was wonderful—quick to respond & incredibly helpful during a brief power outage. A peaceful getaway I won’t forget. Can’t wait to come again ♄

Check in was simple and easy. Kitchen was stocked with all that you would need.We wanted a stress-free relaxed vaca away which was exactly what this place offered. The host was wonderful. Thank you!

We enjoyed our 2 night stay. Check in was seamless. The host was responsive. The inside was very clean and cozy. Soft sheets, nice pillows. Lots of space in the yard, room for yard games, with fire pit and wood to use. The BBQ worked well and we made use of the front patio. Hot tub was excellent - absolutely massive! Very clean.Some tips for staying here - pack some kitchen essentials like spices, salt and pepper, olive oil. It sleeps 4 comfortably but I think 6 would be tight. The doorways in the back had some leaves and debris so make use of the broom as you’ll track in leaves from the exterior!! Overall - great stay. It’s a country cottage so expect things like spotty cell service and bugs then plan accordingly and you’ll have a great stay too.

Swim spa was not working All patio doors locks were broke, one you could not get out at all Communication with host- but they just suggestions for us to fix the problems, we picked this location based on the availability if using the swim spa, for the price we paid, would never return One plus the place was very clean too bad the main features didn’t work

Cottage was as advertised. Clean, functional and nicely decorated with good kitchen and great hot tub. Very lovely area and very quiet.

Fall night

Stayed the night here after a concert. Place was exactly as described. Swim spa was absolutely wonderful. Everyone enjoyed them selves!

Rice Lake Cottage

This is a small cottage across the road from the lake with an obstructed view. The beds were comfortable, and everything was in working order. The windows needed a good cleaning and the kitchen could have been better equipped.

Relaxing getaway!

Two Seniors, one adult plus a teen found this beautifully decorated cottage very relaxing and well-equipped. Nestled among giant Weeping Willows and Pine trees, the cottage provided us with the quiet and comfortable environment we were looking for. Not being on water did not affect our enjoyment of the place. Located quite close to Port Hope made it possible to spend time at Lake Ontario, and Bailieboro has a delightful bakery/ice cream parlour.

Lake view getaway

This property was so clean and inviting and equipped with most essential items. The deck had a nice view of the lake and a great place to hang out. Swim spa and a sauna is an awesome extra. Will definitely be back next year.

Peaceful and well equipped

Great little cottage. Quiet location, clean and very well equipped, with probably the biggest hot tub I’ve ever seen. Although not directly on the water, you can see the lake from the deck and it’s only a few minutes walk to a public access point.
