Oostema Farmstead is a real, working Wagyu cattle farm. During your stay, you may see farm activity, livestock, and other guests staying in nearby accommodations.
That said, the property is spacious and thoughtfully laid out. Everyone has their own area, and the overall atmosphere stays quiet, respectful, and low-key.

During your stay, you’re welcome to shop our small on-site farm store for Oostema Wagyu. As a guest, you can also request a private shopping time with Lisa. Grab a cut, then cook it just a few steps from where it was raised. It’s a pretty cool full-circle moment.
You’ll also find farm-fresh eggs, breakfast sausage, and a few local favorites, all raised or sourced right here.

This is a glamping-style stay, so we recommend bringing simple cooking items like a small pan, camp stove, or cooler if you plan to prepare meals.
We provide fresh drinking water, a kettle, a small fridge, and clean bedding stored in a tote under the bed. You’re welcome to use ours or bring your own, whatever makes you most comfortable.
For clothing, plan for the outdoors. Comfortable layers, sturdy shoes, and weather-appropriate gear will help you enjoy the farm in every season.

We live on-site and are just a message away if you need anything during your stay. We’re happy to help, answer questions, or point you toward a great local day trip.
At the same time, we deeply respect your space. Most guests come here for a quiet reset, so we keep things hands-off unless you reach out.
