Welcome to Crane's Nest! Relax in this lovely year-round, 3 bed home on a private œ acre treed lot in Belair Forest. Enjoy lounging in the screened porch or soaking up the sun on the deck. Cozy up in the living room with wood burning stove and watch movies or play games. Short walk to a park and the lake where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. Short drive to many amazing sandy beaches in the area! Also great for ATV, snowmobiling, fishing (summer and winter), boating, biking, hiking, golf, etc!

Open concept living area with vaulted pine ceilings and wood burning stove. Large fully-equipped, newly renovated kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and huge dining table (seats 6). WIFI is available! Living room has a TV (with Firestick), DVD player, lots of movies. Patio doors off kitchen lead to a gorgeous screened porch with forest views. Window unit air conditioner in living area. Master bedroom has a queen sized bed, desk, TV/DVD Player/Monitor, ceiling fan and closet. The second bedroom has double/single bunk bed, closet and patio doors to access the front deck. There is another 8 x 9 room off the kitchen with a Day Bed (great for daytime reading) that can be used as a 3rd bedroom by closing the barn door and converting the Day Bed from a single to a king-size bed. Large 3 piece Bathroom (shower, toilet, vanity). Enjoy the sun on the beautiful deck on front (south) side of the house. Yard has beautiful trees and flowers, a fire pit, a badminton net and a great outdoor sitting area with propane BBQ. Short walk to park and the lake where you can see beautiful sunsets. The beach is rocky and not best for swimming, however there are many sandy beaches a short drive away. Also close to all amenities such as stores, restaurants, hotel, boating, golf, fishing (summer and winter), hiking, quad trails, snowmobile trails, ski trails, bike trails.

Perfect vacation stay

The cottage was spacious, clean, private and had all the amenities. Communication was very straightforward with the host. We very much enjoyed our stay. Perfect for families or a getaway with friends. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful property

The cottage is in a wooded area with beaches a short drive away. The cottage is very comfortable to be in.We especially enjoyed the wood stove in the living room area and the deck out front. I would recommend this property to any future guests.

The cabin is in excellent condition and was very clean when we arrived. It was very well appointed had absolutely everything we needed and more. The cabin itself has a great layout and the property is very private. Everyone had their own space and there are big comfortable indoor and outdoor common areas for everyone to hang out in. The cabin is in a perfect location, in the centre of everything including a great restaurant and swimmable beach about 5 mins away. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Melissa was very helpful and prompt in her replies to my questions. The cabin was very clean! It has lots of toys and books; our 2 year old grandson was thrilled! The adults loved the variety of games. I would definitely rent this place again!

The weather was frightful, but our stay was delightful!

We really enjoyed our May long weekend getaway here. It didn't matter that the weather was cold and rainy because we cozied up in front of the woodstove, or sat around the spacious table playing board games. There was enough room that we didn't feel crowded being cooped up together, and the cabin had all the amenities we could have wanted. When it dried up a bit, we enjoyed the short walk to the lake and the many outdoor spaces for relaxing around the cabin.

Quiet surroundings!

The cabin provided all the amenities for a weekend retreat though many weren’t used by us. Great for family.Indoor was nice and clean however the exterior ground needed some TLC with weeding and adding flowers.Beautiful Lester Beach nearby. Playground is only a 10 mins walk.

Winter weekend

Cozy, clean year round get away. Great place to walk, or sled trails are close by. Lots of room for 2 couples with kids, and putting winter gear out of the way. Will stay again!
