Modernized Forest-View Escape in Gated Rocky Ridge #115

Experience the best of North Shore living in this beautifully renovated 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom condo. Tucked away in a serene, private forest setting within the gated Rocky Ridge community, this home offers the perfect blend of modern comfort and mountain charm.

The upper level features an open-concept living area designed for relaxation, with large windows framing peaceful forest views. The space includes a sunny living room, a large dining table perfect for family meals, and a fully equipped modern kitchen. A convenient guest bedroom with a full-size bed is also located on this level.

Downstairs, you’ll find the spacious primary suite featuring a king-size bed and a large ensuite bathroom with a large soaking tub! A third bedroom is perfectly set up for families, offering both a king bed and two twin beds with its own full bath.

Guests love the "charming, well-designed" atmosphere of this home. (Note: Please disregard the technical error in a recent review—the guest intended to leave 5 stars and raved about the holiday decor and cozy feel!)

Rocky Ridge is a gated 60-acre community in Tahoe City bordering State Forest land, offering immediate access to hiking and mountain biking trails. Residents and guests enjoy premium amenities, including two seasonal swimming pools and spas, tennis and basketball courts, a playground, Bocce Ball, and a private beach with a pier, clubhouse, and volleyball court.

Our open-concept, two-story rentals feature vaulted mountain-style ceilings, rock fireplaces, and fully equipped kitchens. Each unit includes high-speed Wi-Fi, an in-unit washer/dryer, and all linens. Please note that homes are equipped with central heat and fans, while A/C is rare in Tahoe, we’ve provided fans to keep that fresh mountain air circulating!


*Forest View pool is being re-coated in Spring 2026, which may affect the opening date. No refunds will be given.

This property was so amazing and perfect for our little group that came up to celebrate my birthday weekend with me! It was spacious and clean, the views are absolutely amazing! We will definitely be booking this place in the summer, literal minutes from the lake and so much to do around here as well!

Beautiful residence & great location

Absolutely wonderful time at this condo and it was extremely clean. It has everything we needed. We did feel uncomfortable on our last night there when another property owner told us quite sternly about the community quiet hours (which we had been following). I understand how hard it must be to balance respect of private owners and enjoyment of renters but it did dampen ournotherwise lovely stay.

There was even a Christmas tree which was such a nice touch. When a snowstorm came in the day before we were scheduled to leave, management was wonderful in allowing us extra time to check out until the roads cleared. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

Outstanding Location

We absolutely loved our stay in this condo complex. Very quiet and well manicured areas. Despite not having a lake view, we enjoyed the feeling of being in the trees at this unit. The view from the driveway up was one of the best around. We wish the main pool and spas were usable during our stay but the unit was well-maintained and gave us plenty of room to relax and enjoy the area. The private beach and pier were definitely the highlight of this place though - made for some great memories and a place to enjoy the water. Appreciate the great communication throughout as well. Definitely would stay here again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Tahoe City! The views from the pool and drive up to the property were remarkable, the accommodations were modern yet cozy (note there is no A/C but it cools off enough in the evenings). There is a basketball court, pickleball, walking trails. It was perfect spot for our family.Only warning - watch out for the bear mats. My son got zapped once when he went outside with bare feet (no pun intended :)

Beautiful condo in beautiful setting!

The condo was beautiful and clean and inviting. Everything was top notch....except the bed in the master bedroom. My husband and I rolled together in the middle. We couldn't sleep the first night and my husband ended up sleeping in an extra bed behind the living room the second night and I slept in the valley of the master bed by myself. Disappointing when you pay that much money to not sleep well.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great stay for a family vacation.Location and amenities were outstanding. Only downside was both homes could have been cleaner. 115-under beds and behind nightstands(you had to plug in phone chargers) had dirt,dust bunnies, fake eyelashes and old party ballons.104 was dog friendly but didnt expect dog hair everywhere-sofa, pillows and carpet. All in all perfect vacation spot!
