We had an excellent stay! We loved being able to sit on the porch in the morning or evening and seeing the deer and turkeys. The main level is welcoming and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. And having a total of six queen beds (3 bedrooms and three queen beds in the loft area) made it easy to accommodate our group.

The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked which was great because we made meals at home. Had a small problem with the stove top but the managers promptly help us. Overall a great place to stay.

The property was impeccably clean and well stocked. There were extra linens, pillows, and blankets. The kitchen was well stocked with quality dishes and cook wear. The house was charming with impressive updates that didn't compromise the original character of the home. Our kids loved having the loft area all to themselves. Unfortunately, there was an active bee hive/wasp nest on the front porch. After being stung once, we opted to use the side entrance. We tried to contact the host number provided by VRBO, but received no response. (We did not try to contact the host listed in the physical welcome information.) Our only other complaint was that the water heater didn't keep up with 10 people showering. The two showers couldn't be used simultaneously, and even when we showered one at a time the temps were a bit lacking. Other than that we were pleased with our stay.

Was a great stay! The house is cozy but yet nicely renovated! We had a great stay and loved the location as well. Was out of town yet close enough to everything!

The White House

We really enjoyed our stay at "The White House". Is close enough to the town of Spearfish without being located right in town. Enjoyed watching the wildlife in the early mornings and late afternoons. Very relaxing and had all the comforts of home.

White House Stay

We loved our stay at the White House. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Wrap around deck was a nice plus to enjoy seeing deer and rabbits in the yard. Spearfish Canyon and the surrounding areas were beautiful. Don’t stay if you can’t do stairs but for us it was great. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect House to Relax in the Hills

Perfectly kept and clean. Plenty of room for a family or multiple families. Close to downtown and a great place to stay if you want a getaway in the Black Hills. Definitely a place we plan to stay again next year.

Big White Old Farm House - will not disappoint

Clean, spacious, quiet, huge windows, beautiful sunrises, wrap around porch, huge bathrooms that are warm in winter, comfortable bedrooms, lovely kitchen.

They were very accommodating and helpful at a very stressful time. It was nice to be able to get all my kids and grand kids together in one place to reminisce about their grandmother. I would definitely stay there again!

Lovely

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The house was spotlessly clean and clearly well-maintained. The kitchen was truly impressive—fully equipped with every tool and amenity needed to whip up and serve home-cooked meals. It’s evident that the organizer put a lot of thought into every detail, making our stay even more comfortable. Checking in and out was a breeze, and the location couldn’t be better. We highly recommend this house and would love to stay here again!

The property was great. The only complaint we had was the dishes in the dishwasher were left and not clean and the coffee maker was really dirty. We cleaned both upon arrival but other than that it was great.

Overall our stay was enjoyable. The only thing I would critique is the driveway was not cleared of snow, the sidewalk was not cleared of snow, and a dirty pan was discovered in the oven.

Perfect Getaway

This well appointed house was the perfect location for our late season UTV trip. It had everything we needed and more. This house had the charm of an older house but looked like it was newly renovated. Neat and clean! We would highly recommend.
